O you won't believe, the times I've gone back and told the customer, that " Think I forgot my screwdriver on top of boiler 🫣" just to make sure, that the cap is on.. 😅
Is this the sort of thing you can fix without replacing rhe whole fan assembly or no? Or is it a tell tale sign the fan is completely knackered and needs replacing?
Noise comes from fan impeller with worn out. Not repairable. Only PCBs on these fans, SOME engineers prefer or attempt to replace. Maybe works but not advised by manufacturer
@@BoilerMend Worcester bosch 37cdi Heating works fine , when i run the water slowly its fine , when i run the tap fast , the blower fan then speeds up and the green light goes out. Multiple times EA fault. Symbol appears. If i run tap for 2 to 3 min slow flow i can then run the tap fast and the fan speeds up and the green light stays on . At no piont does it over heat.
Terrible practice to just bend the gas pipe down and out! Remove the trap and then unscrew the pipe from top of gas valve, twist round and then pull down. Zero chance of damaging it!
