Rule #1 of Noita: If there is any possibility of your own wand damaging you, no matter how small the chance or how little the damage, you will die by your own wand
@@Other-AllOfTheAbove staring isn't the same as looking. you don't know how vulnerable you are in a god run until you die. the longer it takes you to process your death, the more ptsd and humility is seared into your being
@@kitsun9375 Frankly I don't share such a romantic view of stats and numbers. You can die any moment without warning as long as you don't hold the Amulet of Yendor. Everything else just reduces that chance.
Pro tip for anyone struggling with low max HP, keep your eye out for the blood mages. They’re the red wizards with the deformed head. There’s a little trick you can do with them to get a ton of max HP. The blood mages shoot projectiles at you which cut your max health in half each time you are hit and when the debuff wears off your health is doubled to return to normal. This means if you have a ton of the debuffs stacked and then pick up a +max health, that additional max health will be doubled every time each debuff wears off. Bring a blood mage to a health pickup, coat yourself in ambrosia, let him hit you a bunch, pick up the max health, and then you’ll have a shit ton of HP. Can be hard to pull off but still extremely valuable. Hope this helps 👍
@@thefishwhisperer1355 A lot of them. All explosives, slime ball and anything else that causes any kind of stain (including fire), death cross, anything electrical, all plasma spells, all disc spells, all barriers, several clouds, and all damaging fields.
That's the good ending. Mina survived and won a demand to the Lukki mining organization for 10 million dollars. Mina invested that money in Bitcoin and never had to work again.
And now you know piles of whatever can have propane tanks in them. Good times! Edit: looking at the frame-by-frame he died from his own spell a good 9 frames before the tank blew, lol
@@soulfuzz368 Is that the real numbers, or the old (incorrect) numbers? Noita recently fixed the explosion damage being off by 100% (double the actual damage amount). But the worst part about propane tanks is if the explosion doesn't kill you, the freezing vapour cloud likely will.
@@save-scum so basically, his wand setup buffed a sparkbolt with double trigger, which casts the 2 next spells in the wand once the spark bolt hits something. on his wand, when the sparkbolt hit something, it would cast Mu (a spell that applies all the projectile modifier spells on a wand to the next projectile (also dont look this up because its spoiler territory)) and divide by 4 (also dont look this up even though the vid kinda showed it) which casts the next spell 4 times. both of these (Mu and divide by 4) are applied to the infestation, which can damage the player. Then on top of this, the spells to power after the refresh turns all the little particles created by infestation into one super hard-hitting particle from infestation. There is some other noita shenanigans going on but thats the gist of it. Keep in mind that these infestation projectiles can damage the player, and making them hit harder also means that the player can take more damage from them. so at 5:14 when he creates all those infestation particles with super high damage, and then a black hole (which sucks in any surrounding projectiles) they all converged into him. killing him super fast. At least thats what I think is going on, you can never be too sure with noita
wait actually nvm, you can actually see several other times when the projectiles collide with him but dont do any damage, or at least nothing like the 400 that hit him first. So i really have no idea.
@@Nvggs A pretty terrible one at that. Really funny thing is I remember reading a comment saying they love grabbing one early for the Hiisi base, and I literally thought they meant to just throw it so can take care of enemies around the corner or something. Tried it a few times and was confused as to why that person liked it lmao
By the time I start experimenting with wands, I usually have around 10k-20k health and 4+ stainless armors, plus saving grace haha I still Noita'd myself with a self-replicating omega sawblade spell though (turns out homing only works on the sawblade if there are any alive enemies on the screen, otherwise, the only alive enemy is you)
Hot tip, try to get like 2k < HP at this point XD I feel the pain. I was doing Uusi Aurinko for 6 hours and died to polymorph in the work while I was being greedy for gold... at 50k gold.
I currently have a massive run, aprox 10k health, full immunities and prepping for sun quests. Was digging up into jungle and got turned into a fish, I was so terrified that the poison Hiisi was going to get me before I turned back
At that point should have been able simply enter the gold biome and the 250k. Why care about a little bit of gold? When i was to the game i died a lot because of gold too, but now i understand that i only a blacko and i greek and boom...250k gold. Since parallel words have the gold biome too it makes trivial to accumulate 1 million gold. Lets not even about breaking the reroll machine to get a dozen of greed perks then infinite gold.
Got like 25 million health and a great tipo to die is using the end of everything an trhowing youself in the poly shot Wasted like 3 hours finding a way to die
@@robertluna518 Well if you reach the point where you can't die no matter what and you want to die i recommend closing the game and editing the player.xml file in your save00 folder and search for hp=" there will be a number inside so you just change it to 1 and close it with (") like this hp="1" Now you just have to take 1 damage to die. Blood to power is a good way to do that. I know most players don't like to edit the save because that is cheating and i don't like to do that either. Still i rather do that than spending hours JUST SO I CAN DIE.
On this week i died on two similar runs and these death's sponsored by polymorphin, it doesn't matter how much hp you have or how much damage you have in your wand if ship goes "beeee" :) 😢
Of all the ways you could have died, that was one of them, lol. When you started playing with the Divide By spells I figured you would find a way to murder yourself. Then when you added the Heavy Shot I was sure you'd die by your own wand. It's kind of hard to even tell how you died there. You cast the Black Hole which blew up a hidden propane tank, but that wasn't enough to kill you. It seems the Black Hole also dragged all of your own damaging spells nearby directly onto it, which was where you were standing. I guess the Heavy Shot projectiles finished you off. Edit: Yeah, the Game Over screen said you died by your own projectile.
What happened was the dude applied bouncing and heavy shot to his projectiles so when he fired the black hole all of his remaining projectiles got sucked right into him lmao
I love swappers i love swappers I love swappers i love swappers I love swappers i love swappers I died WAAAY TO MANY times by my projectiles by them changing position with me
that 11 hrs run are sus as fuck 😅 there a lot of things that he don't did that can be made on 2/3 hrs run easily, i personatly think he just put the game open'd on second plan when doing other things...
