Bloody hell Sid, that is incredible for a machine half the price of the Deus 2. It seems the hype is correct, "Don't pay more for less". Definitely need to get one. Many thanks Sid for this very informative video mate.
Thanks for the video Sid, I would be a happy to own a legend after watching this. The only reason I am keeping my Deus 2 is the weight factor, nothing else....Performance seems to be very similar from what I have seen.
Weight is one of the important factors. I can easily work all day with my D2 and that you've me more chances to get something nice. Legend is heavy as hell.
We been saying for a while the deus 2 ain’t right haven’t we but no one at xp is listening there testers are saying it’s fine 🤦🏻♂️, at least Nokta listen to there customer though fair play to them 👍
what ive noticed is when the deus dose hit thers no questions its hit somthing nice sometimes the legend has that slight crack and pop in the tone im wanting a new machine but just cant decide i keep watching videos and thers things i like and dislike about both and its still 50/50 then thers the price if the deus 2 was the same money as the legend i would probably take a gamble on it as i love xp products but at its current price i feel that same performance can be had from the legend i justduno my heads all over
I'm loving the legend mate! We could do with a new super pasture set of settings like you did before bud now we have all these updates and extra goodies.
Thats insane, Nokta Makro has done a great job with the update 1.08. Do you still got your CTX3030? I will do a test with the combined sound settings on the CTX3030 and see if it can match The Legend, but I have to wait for the update from Nokta Makro website....
I'm sure u know this sid..on the deus 2 in fast or any program really...the disc needs dropping to 6.8 and the silencer to 0 then it will get that target.... silencer is set at 2 default which I don't get to he honest 👍🏻
Any vist machine can do that, without all that feedback, getting through the ground minerals is fare more important, turn them nails and no more hammered,
Man, lookin good, really wishing I had this update to try on my water hunts after work all this week, to see how she does. Potently loaded, magnetic black sand Fresh Water beaches (Lake Michigan).
Definitely not knocking the Nokta...I'm sure it's a great detector, but you have to adjust the XP to your ground...and once you do, it'll hit a good target with trash in the same hole, etc... However, like any machine, you really have to use it a lot, and know what it's trying to tell you! Good demo though, but I still think the XP is a better unit! Jmo... Good hunting!
Looks very promising in the iron. If they can get anywhere close to the Deus II in wet beach stability I will be very impressed (i'm still impressed regardless).
@@detecting-guru9955 you can expect Deus 2 updates until there’s a Deus 3, if the Deus 1 was any indication. What I’ve learned though is not to be so quick to update before the feedback rolls in. It seems XP has been fixing it until it’s broke lately. I’ve been quite happy with an early version of 0.6 before things started to go backward.
Do they have a small coil option? Might even do better!! I'd like to see this test with an equinox 800 and the small coil. I hunt with that set up a lot in super heavy trash! PS: how well does the Nokta perform separating non ferrous? Instead of nails try bits of can slaw and see if it picks up that high tone. Im impressed but would love to know a bit more before I get one.
Yeah. A lot of the urban areas I hunt are full of bottle caps, can slaw etc... the nox with the tiny coil does well. I tried a Deus in some good sites and didn't really find much. I know some are still hiding some goodies... looking for technology to catch up before they are all built on. The best one is condos already 😭😭
@@englandshistory Thank you, I am originally from Walsgrave UK 1970, here in the US digging British and Spanish history in St Augustine Florida USA est 1565 the oldest continually occupied city in the US. Not as old as back home but I dig 500 yr old sites loaded with 100s of years of iron from reoccupation this new update looks like a dream come true.
not good for us deus 11 users, they need to get there arse into gear and solve the issues we are having, my finds rate have dropped loads since upgrading to the deus 2 from the 1 . dont have motivation to go out much now knowing il be missing targets in amongst iron, what a waste of £1300, should just stuck to me deus 1 and not fomo into buying the 2
@deanicuss i sold a nox to add funds for deus 2, wish i never now, should just stuck to my deus 1 and nox, found so much with them, since deus 2 i no im missing stuff in iron after doing tests and seeing other peoples test.
I totally agree mate, I am very disappointed with mine, the only good thing is the ergonomics. Just glad I never sold my Nox, its a great machine and still my favorite of all time.
I aint branded or brought out by any company and all i show is what the real results are… some people may get butt hurt if they dont like results but it is what it is…. I have been saying for ages now the deus ii isnt running right with updates and has took a step backwards… but im sure when they fix the issue it will be running great again as it was when i first got the deus ii on the older update
impressive,, if i had a deus ll I'd swap it allday long for a legend, call me mad if you like bur I've been out with people deus ll, nox 800 and a legend and the deus ll not finding as much as noc n legend
Im going to do a more indepth test in a few days to see if i can get the deus ii to hit a but better, i really want the deus ii to perform as i love the ergonomics and have always been a XP fan… but it is deffo struggling with the last few updates….. hope the new xp update is a proper tried and tested one
Just screams out the targets no bother…. Still only spent a few minutes looking at features but excited to see how well the other new things perform. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
