i saw them at cafe ole on the tour for the 1st hanson brothers record and to this day was of the best punk shows i've ever seen...saw them as nomeansno and was far from disappointed.

No, live they sound much much BETTER!

John is touring right now with Dead Bob. I think they're playing new material as well as versions of some nomeansno songs. It's difficult to imagine Rob being retired, but apparently he's now 70. I often quoted that line about the safety pin in the early 90s.

Andy is currently in Two Pin Din - worth checking out!

Andy Kerr. Currently in Two Pin Din

I unfortunately became a fan right after Andy left and always felt something of a mysterious legend. He shared a lot of lead vocals despite robs obvious bellowing baritone, and he had this presence that held its own despite the dominating presence and connection of the wright bro’s, yet it never felt forced or out of control. He had a rock element to him that changed when he left (you can hear in Wrong and Sex Mad). Every NMN show for me was like an out of body experience. It was hard to explain. I saw The Bad Brains love and they were great, but nothing was like NMN live. Words just don’t describe it.

I remember jostling into the very front of their live show and staring at rob and he’d consistently look at me straight in the eye and hold my gaze for what seemed like minutes and the only way i can describe their show is it was like an out of body experience for 90 minutes. They were seminal events of my teenage years and 20s.

I’d say that Rob, the bassist was always lead vocal, Andy was backup lead, and john was backup (drums).
