Hi I’m also exploring Epic self study but I don’t know how to access epic web user. I applied for access and they emailed me do you have any epic certification? Or why did you apply for web user? I don’t know what to reply any feedback in this ??

Hi Greeshma, You will only have access to Epic’s UserWeb if you currently for a Healthcare system that already uses Epic or if you work for a consulting company that also supports Epic. You should automatically have access to it once you login using your work credentials in the UserWeb page. Hi There, Thank you so much for sharing insight to help those who are trying to enter the EPIC space. Question, does getting a self- study profictiency help land a position as an EPIC Analyst? if so, can you assist with explaining how do I market myself with the profictiencies to land a role?

Hi Natasha, Absolutely! Getting your Epic Self-Study Proficiency shows hiring managers that you are someone that loves learning (majority of the work is learning). It also gives you an advantage since you get hands on experience with building during the projects portion of the proficiency.

I am interested in learning EPIC and getting certified, however , I do not have healthcare background. How can someone get started with a non healthcare background? Will I need to get certifications and how would you get the experience? Thank you

Hey there! If you don't come from a healthcare background, I would try to enter the Epic world by becoming an Epic Credentialed Trainer first. These jobs usually just require you to have some educational experience. Hope this helps!

Hi! I work at an IT Help Desk for a big hospital organization and have been very interested in trying to move to an epic analyst position. What do you think is a good way to be able to change positions? I know networking is good but any tips on how or where I can study a module I’m interested in? I found your channel because I’m the most interested in epic Cupid but for still willing to learn other modules as well. Thanks!

Hey there! That’s awesome, I bet you’ve already seen some of the work that we do. You can try to reach out to your manager and ask them if you could sign up for the Epic self-study proficiency in Cupid. If they agree, then the next step will be to reach out to Epic themselves to ask for the training course to be added to your account.
