Tim did this arrangement when he was a teenager. You should also watch their Angels we Have Heard - it was taped in the same church. And then Do you Hear What I hear - it was arranged by Adam. How Great Thou Art -another 5-part harmony arranged by their producer Darren Rust.
It was written in 1843. They are all covers. Home Free - "Everybody Walkin' This Land" Stay for Tim's message at the end. It's important for providing context.
They have some truly amazing Christmas soncs in addition to this one - Do You Hear What I Hear (thebest Christmas arrangement, ever), Mary Did You Know, Angels We Have Heard on High and What Child Is This.
I love that you give them the credit they deserve. They've worked and given it all to Home Free for 23 years now to get where they are. They truly deserve more attention than they get. 🎶❤ All of their Christmas and gospel-oriented stuff is beautiful! And most of it is 5-part harmonizing with no beatboxing. 👍 One exception for sure is "Do You Hear What I Hear?" which is outstanding and has a LOT of wonderful percussion by Mr. Adam Rupp, because he actually arranged it! Lol Definitely check it out.
O Holy Night premiered in Roquemaure, France in 1847. John Dwight, adapted the song into English in 1855. It is a traditional Christmas carol. Home Free's rendition of it is beautiful - the harmonies, the singing - all of it.
One of my fav Christmas songs they do and we all get mesmerized by their singing. Welcome to the Home Free fan club. Haha yes we hear them too! Each of them could lead their own group, let alone sing together! Glad to see your reactions to them 🖤💜💚
This is one of my favorite Christmas songs and Home Free just made it so much better. They sound so good. For straight 5 part harmony check out their cover of Helplessly Hoping. simple video but beautiful harmonies. For some fun videos: Thank God I'm a Country Boy by John Denver; Brother, Working for a living, Hillbilly Bone, and one of their original songs "Road Sweet Road". Their are so many. Love your reactions. Thank you!
Love your beautiful Reaction it makes me smile when reactionists appreciate the true beauty in the song. Its Easter Sunday in Australia so what could be more appropriate. GOD BLESS YA !!!
Lovely reaction, their version of this song is my favorite, so glad you have become a Home Free fan (Home Fry). Your volume aint a problem, I just turn mine up for your videos.
Hey Chris, The volume is fine. Trolls are everywhere you keep doing you. The fact that you are out there bringing beauty to the web is a plus. I just subscribed!
To be fair, there really is a sound problem that cannot be remedied by turning up the volume. I have my volume at max and it's still hard to hear you. And then when the ads come on, my eardrums get blasted. That shows me that there is a problem. Also, you can't turn up the volume on a phone as much as you can on a computer. On a phone, you only have the phone volume. On a computer, you can turn up the YT video volume and also the computer/headphones volume. So you can make it louder than a phone. But that doesn't solve the problem with the ads being too loud. My point being, is that if you checked the video on your computer, that may be why the sound didn't seem as bad to you. And I would guess that most people are using their phones. But I understand there's nothing you can do with what equipment you have. So I'm not expecting you to fix it right away or anything. I'm just letting you know because you said you didn't think there was a sound problem and people were complaining just to complain, and that's not true. But thank you for the reaction to Home Free, I do appreciate it. And I will be patient with the volume problem.
I can't hear what you're saying. The Music volume is fine but the microphone needs to be closer to you or turned up. Glad you're enjoying Home Free. They are addictive!
