A non-inverting amplifier is one in which the output and the input voltages are in phase with each other. This video looks at a non-inverting amplifier built from an ideal op amp (operational amplifier). The video covers the basics of a non-inverting op amp circuit and shows how to derive the equation for the closed loop voltage gain in a couple of different ways.
This video also shows a simple simulation example using LTSpice

What if the polarities of the op-amp were switched ('+' sign switched with '-' sign inside triangle op-amp), WHILE RETAINING THIS EXACT CIRCUIT CONFIGURATION? How would that affect the circuit gain G, as well as the relationship b/w V+, V-?

Thank you this very helpful, I have a question tho, what if R1 is not connected to GND, but to a voltage Vx, how would the gain change?

It doesn't change the gain on Vin, but now you will be subtracting a certain amount (the voltage you applied instead of the ground times the inverting amplifier gain (R2/R1)) Go back to about 3:29 in the video and look at the equations relating IR1 to IR2, but IR1 will now be (Vin-Vnew)/R1 where Vnew is the voltage you are applying instead of ground. Then do some algebra on the equation until you get Vout =
