Taehyung is amazing. Thank you for checking out his solo work. My recommendations are Stigma live and his Tiny Desk performance. He's even more amazing live. He also did live jam sessions with the band that are amazing. He even plays the sax a little at the end of one of them.
I think you'll love him in Tiny Desk Korea and Band Session. Live, with a band and backinc vocals. Sensational. His voice is even more beautiful live. And he plays the saxophone.
His entire album is my daily go-to. Christmas is nearing, so check out his 'Snow flower' (gift to ARMY) next month. Cover song 'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas'. 'For Us' from V is my fave from his 'Layover' album.
Ahh our precious Kim Tae Hung. V is his BTS alter ego that is the showman. The laid back, jazzy/R&B vibe is true to Kim Tae Hyung. His solo project is Layover a non skip album. He wanted to to tell a story with this album as well as reflect his true personality so all the songs are lofi. He wanted to create an album where the songs are listened to in order. He also had a visual for each song so he produced music videos for each one. He also created alternative realities for each video so spend some time looking at the details. He planned live performance with its release including some where he performs with a live jazz band. Check out his NPR Tiny Desk performance. I also suggest that you watch his live performance of Singularity and also Stigma which is another R&B solo song with BTS. He also wrote and sang OST songs so check out Christmas Tree and Sweet Night. Finally check out Winter Bear that he wrote about his grandparents and Scenery which is about his love of photography. My personal favorite is Blue and Grey which was supposed to be on his solo album originally but the BTS members loved so much that it was released as a BTS track. You can find a draft all English version that he sang on one of their shows before it was officially released. It expresses his feelings during COVID. Kim Tae Hyung is the humblest, most down to earth, unique and sweet soul. Hard to believe he is a world wide superstar who can sell out any product his name is attached to.
Well said. He's the one that brought me to BTS with his most handsome man in the world title, and I never left. I am 62 and I am OT7 but Taehyung is such and humble down to earth young man. But to be honest, they all are. You are going to enjoy all his music. Love your calm reactions. 💜💜💜🫰🫰🫰
V makes everything he does look and sound easy & effortless. SUGA said he was the ultimate Idol of K-music, in that he has the looks, the talent, the charisma, the kindness, & that humble nature-where you feel connected to him, but he also has such an elevated presentation. Just an amazing man.
Oh I'm telling you it's worth the listen, a no skip album. At first I thought Love Me Again is already great, what could've been better? But then I heard For Us and I absolutely fell in love. It's my favorite from his album and it made me a little emotional and nostalgic cuz of the lyrics like he's saying goodbye to us and wishes he could stay with us. It's the epilogue and all of the clips or like behind the scenes from every MV from his album are all in there. I thought it's a really clever way to end or conclude his album.
@@el-ul8ky I finally listened to it 🥳!! My opinion is still the same . Slow Dancing and Love Me Again are on the same level now . Thanks for encouraging me to listen to it. I wouldn’t necessarily call it a no skip album, but it’s a pretty great album!
BTS are such an amazing group! So much talent every one of them have individually but they still put each other first and stay so humble never stopping thanking us, Army, for support and love. They deserve all the praise! So happy you found another member in BTS to appreciate! V is so unique and has found his own distinctive style in his solo debut! 💜💜💜💜💜
Hi! Great reaction! V is amazing and i fell in love with his album. You should really check him out live, it's even better:)(Tiny desk and/or band session)
Thanks for your V reaction! You would love his Tiny Desk performance ,- it hits hard live!, the band and arrangements are stunning & V's vocals are smooth & soulful. You would also enjoy his live performance of his song stigma. Look forward to more V!
Completely agree. V's voice was the 1st one I feel in love with when I first discovered BTS, and while I actually love each solo project, his voice and style will always hold a special place in my heart. If honey dripped on velvet had a sound it would be his voice. Soul soothing. Great reactions, and even though you started out with a preconceived idea I really appreciate how quickly you allowed yourself to pivot rather than close yourself off to what you were hearing.
Like many recommended here, his performances at Tiny Desk Korea, live Band sessions (with the same Tiny Desk musicians) as well as his Npop performance where he did 4 tracks from his solo album & First Take Japan. Tae is exceptionally good when he performs live
V has a jazzy Christmas song he wrote and gifted to Army..please listen to Snowflower by V featuring his good friend..Korean rapper Peakboy…It is only lyrics videos ..no music video but is very good Christmas song…💜
It's literally a crime that he doesn't have more music like this only until recently has he released similar music style on his album Layover but how I wish their was more!
PLEASEEEE check out his live performances you will love him even more!! I highly recommend the Tiny Desk Performance as well as his 4 performances on NPOP 💜🔥
I recommend Singularity or Stigma performed live, as well as Taehyung's Tiny Desk (NPR or Tiny Desk Korea) or Live Band session (on Bangtan TV channel) performances of Layover songs. He works together with the band so well that his voice and the band/backup singers performances really complement and enhance one another. I think you will enjoy all of these.
I love it too!! I can get lost in his voice. Please if you want to react to Stigma live. And that's awesome he is on your 10 out of 10 playlist! Thank you we purple you
Just subscribed to your channel because of your reactions to V’s music my ultimate bias. Hope to seeing you do more reactions of his songs and other BTS’ members music.
I think I saw another comment with Sweet Night and Stigma recommended...I would like to add Winter Bear to it as well. V has an amazing, unique voice with an incredible range. Mix that with the jazzy music and WOW...! This is not my favorite genre of music, but just like rap...I like these guys when they do it...I can't explain it LOL
Love Me Again was filmed in a cave in Spain. It has great acoustics! His apartment in Rainy Days is also in Spain. You will see his pup and he has dedicated his Layover album to Yeontan. However they had a stand-in in Spain, Rocky. His pup stayed in Korea. Yes. Please watch V in tiny desk Korea. Fun Fact, when he was younger he learned to play the saxaphone. If you get the right RU-vid video you will see him! Also during PTD tour in LasVegas in 2022, he went to Jazz club. Just google V in Jazz club LasVegas....pretty cool and the other folks there, all older, were looking like who IS this guy? Im glad you are enjoying these talented guys. Check out each one, Jimin, Jhope, RM, Suga and Jin... amazing solo stuff. Announced today the 4 left have started their military enlistment process.....Nice you caught on to how deep these guys are!!!❤
Then, you have to react to V's "Tiny Desk Korea" mini concert. And I'm pretty sure you'll love his new album "LAYOVER". V is definitely the R&B/Jazzy crooner of the group. 💜
V is my fav cause I relate to his song so much too. This just match my taste 100% and his voice is so nice! You should react to his tiny desk korea concert, you are going to love it!! (beautiful live performance with band of some songs from layover)
I was just going to recommend SINGULARITY 😂 Have you listened to his LIVE performance of Stigma? It has to be that one live performance if you are listening it for the very first time.
I got introduced to BTS because of V 💜 Still an ARMY and I love all the boys. V's Layover is a no skip album because all the tracks are great. Rainy Days is my fave tho. Btw, V guested in Running Man a few weeks ago and will appear on the show again, I hope you react to it too.
Tysm for reacting to Taehyung’s LOVE ME AGAIN 😉 Filmed in the Caves of Nerja … “Cueva de Nerja” in Spain ~ a series of caverns. some chambers become a natural amphitheater.. Taehyung’s shiny red and gold outfits are from CELINE Men’s Fall 2022 Collection (one of his fav designers)
I appreciated the manner how you describe KIM TAEHYUNG's song. TAEHYUNG is the king of pop in his generation. His voice is very uniquely beautiful, so soothing, calm , sweet and his falsetto is always on point, not trying hard so to speak. Among the members, I think his solo album is the best in terms of how he conceptualized everything, from lay out, his creativity and being genius. There are so many KIM TAEHYUNG songs that you can check and fall in love with him as a genuine artist who loves to sing songs different from the rest of the KPOP idols.
Please react to NPR…Tiny Desk Korea with V and a live band..V plays 3 songs from his Layover album..V also has 2 band sessions with same band…Naver NPOP Live stage with “Slow dancing” song and “Blue” song with V is amazing as well…🔥💜
I just subscribed because I like your honesty in reaction and V is also my bias. Please react Stigma live performance, you will love it,watch singularity live in Tokyo dome, then Tiny desk korea of Taehyung for Layover album, hmmm if you love jazz then goosebumps for you because slow dancing is fully Jazz vibe ,but he still has Le Jazz De V ,full jazz cover by him, cery awesome, acoustic go for sweet night , Christmas tree, winter bear and snowflower, then there is inner child and please react to the full layover album is a no skip,😂 i see you falling into the rabbit hole because BTS as a whole is awesome.
I think you would like the other songs on V's "Layover", Stigma and Winter Bear AND RM's "Indigo" and "Mono" album songs. I would recommend Closer and Still Life from Indigo and Seoul, Moonchild, Forever Rain from Mono. I hope you give a listen to RM's music someday. I have a feeling you might relate to his music!💜
I hope you’ve listened to V’s STIGMA if you can’t sleep listen to winter bear if you want a nice sit by the fire with a drink and snuggle do V’s snow flower Scenery is beautiful
Zizi K. said on 6/23/21 Kpop is not a genre actually, it's an industry because groups can choose whatever genre they want. I know you can listen to like one or two songs from a singer or group and get the gist of their sound but with BTS, their discography is so varied that you need to listen to a variety of the music to get who they are. Rayna said on 1/29/22 The first thing to understand is, that "K-Pop" is not really just a genre, it's more a whole industry.. As SUGA (one of the BTS members) once said: "I’m a little careful to talk about K-pop as a genre, because I don’t want to be defining Kpop as a genre. I’m a little bit wary of that, but I think rather than approach Kpop as a genre, a better approach would be ‘integrated content.' K-pop includes not just the music, but the clothes, the makeup, the choreography…all these elements I think sort of amalgamate together in a visual and auditory content package, that I think sets it apart from other music or maybe other genres so again, as I said, rather than approach K-pop as it’s own genre I think approaching it as this integration of different content would be better.” BTS is more than just K-Pop. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists in BTS. Also I recommend you some songs, that show their diversity: - ON Kinetic Manifesto Film (Music Video) - Mic Drop (Music Video) - Blood, Sweat & Tears (Music Video) - Blue & Grey (MTV Unplugged) - Dis-ease (Lyric video) - Magic Shop (Live) only the rapline: - Outro: Tear (Live) - UGH (Lyric Video) - Cyphers 1-4 (Lyric Video) & Cypher Medley only the vocal line: - The Truth Untold (Live) - House of Cards (Live) - Dimple (Live) I was also never a boyband kinda girl... My taste is/was more stuff like Disturbed, Papa Roach, Flogging Molly etc., until I found them and I'm so glad I did.. 😁👍💜 Jade Melon said on 6/23/21 Their voices are easy to tell apart because only 4 are vocalists, each with distinct voices: Jin, 30yo, the tall lanky one has a "lifted palette" sound and is great at hitting those piercing/belting notes. Jungkook, youngest member 26yo, has the quintessential pop sound (think Bieber) and has the most control over his voice which is why he usually does the runs and ad libs (though Jimin has a lot of awesome ad libs in this particular song). Jimin, 28yo, pretty, lead dancer, is known for his airy light delicate voice. He has some of the most beautiful range of tones IMO V, 27yo, has the gorgeous, round, soulful voice, and can go low and deep but also high and belting (really, all the singers in BTS have an amazing vocal range and can all go high) Once you get the singers out of the way, then you have the 3 rappers. These are easy, cuz there's less of them...and they have their own distinct style. This song doesn't really show the rappers' full capability, but you can still get a glimpse of those unique styles: Suga, 30yo, 2nd rapper, lead , usually has a slightly, how-do-I explain it....low-key savage/dangerous tone? and a little bit of a lisp. He plays with his voice sometimes using inflection on certain words. RM, 29yo, 1st rapper, main (official leader of BTS), has a very solid American rapper boom-bap style. Deep voice. Can sound smooth or aggressive. J-Hope, 29yo, 3rd rapper , lead, usually he's the "hype" rapper of the group songs and singles, but he is a talented rapper in his own right. He has the most distinctive voice IMO, very laid-back vibe, but can be savage and sarcastic sounding. Main dancer.
