Is this the machine you would recommend for tightening the neck of a 46 year old who doesn’t have any excess fat to get rid of or anything ? Im just wanting to tighten the crepey skin starting to form . I do have a slight double chin. But I am afraid of trying the fat reduction part just yet lol thank you so much! I have never had RF done, but I just bought this S-Shape machine, and I'm following your tutorial. Quick question, though - is it supposed to be painful? I saw you had your energy level set to 7, but I could not handle the heat! I seem to only be able to turn it up to a 3 before it starts burning, but I don't know if that will even have any benefits at that level.

Hi Cassandra, it is a very powerful machine and if your not used to it it can be painful. I always advise people to start out at a low energy and work your way up. The key is to monitor the temp. If your looking for skin tightening the between 100-104F, if your looking for fat loss 104-110F. You can monitor the temp using a digital thermometer. Hello, thanks for watching. :) HIFU Goes much deeper into and beyond the dermis, being able to reach the SMAS layer, delivers more precise and more intense fractional ultrasound energy heating from “inside-out”. HIFU can tighten deep tissues in addition to the skin, makes HIFU systems very efficient in lifting. RF Focuses on epidermal layers and does not go beyond the deep dermis. bulk heating Heating from “top-down”, treat superficial skin problems well - such as very fine early wrinkles, enlarged pores, superficial scars and even acne.

Hi Jody, that is a great question. I prefer both and let me explain why. The treatment in this video uses RF, vacuum therapy, EMS and EL so the technology is very different. This treatment reduces fat, tightens the skin and tones the muscles. The RF micro needling is GREAT for tightening the skin and skin texture. So, if that's what your looking for then the RF mico needling would be my first choice. But if your looking for fat loss and toning the muscle then the S-Shape would be the better choice. Laser Lipo isn’t a skin tightening treatment?it’s a fat reduction treatment. I’ve never heard of it tightening skin before.

Hello, thanks for watching my video. :) You could skip the lipo, if you don't have it. The RF will give you the heat you need, it will also break down the fat. The key is the temp. Make sure you are staying within the ranges 100-104F for skin tightening, 104-110F for fat loss. I had my power set at 4 for the RF and EL. The vauum was set at the first line by the silver knob.

Thanks for all your great videos ;-) Do you find coolsculpting removes fat more permanently than cavitation? I ask as I think you said in a video that cavitation only makes the fat cells leak the fat, but as I understand it coolsculpting destroys the cells completely. Yes, you are correct. Cryo kills the fat cells up to 25% in the area treated. Cavitation drains the fat cells they are still there. Confused, please help. Every other professional video mentions 42 Celsius (about 107.6 Degree Fahrenheit) as the minimum target surface temperature for skin tightening. You mention a lower figure - is it perhaps your tool does not measure surface temp but local body temp (an average over the depth of the flesh, which would be a bit lower) or do you have a source of data that suggests a lower surface target is valid?

There are so many studies out there that have different temps. This is a diy channel so I always caution using high temps because it can cause fat loss. @@Beautyover50onabudget I bought the S-Shape 160 mW. I find that I can't get to 40 degrees on my face with full power. This lead me to test the ultrasound handle with only the RF on and I found that after 10 mins it didn't raise temperature at all. The RF+Suction handle raises temperature quickly by only a a few degrees, nowhere near 40. Do you find that body RF increases you belly skin surface temperature to 40+ please? Or is what i am describing for body rf normal? I think ultrasound is working but RF is not tightening my belly skin to take advantage of the fat reduction.

Hello, fat dissolver is always the last step. You can apply with hyaluronic pen. If doing fat dissolver wait on micro needling. If not you can micro needle after the RF. :)

I know it’s not your product, but I’m hoping you can help. As I followed your video, using my S shape new product, when I got to the suction part, I didn’t feel any suction, even though I turned on the time and the level the handle didn’t light up for the section, but it did light up for the rf. Any suggestions?

Try turning the silver knob on the top. It regulates the suction. The RF has to be set to a minimum of level 4 for the light to come on.
