This video should have suggested full stainless models, and not ceramic coated options which are just another highly processed man-made coating technology. Stainless has decades of history behind it and no issues. It is also wonderful for cleaning. Can't say the same thing for my Philips XXL which is a major pain in the ass to clean and has some permanent grease marks on the sides of the basket. If I were to do it all over again, I would get an air frying oven made of stainless.

1:40 They can produce healthier dishes with up to 75% less fat??? GIVE me the FAT! I WANT THE FAT! It's NOT healthy to have no fat or less fat! Do your research on consumption of animal fat! And don't believe the lies. All I would cook in this machine is a steak or burger (no bun). Maybe some cheese fries. And I don't mean potato fries covered with cheese. I mean just cheese cut into long slices. I don't eat veggies, especially starchy stuff like potatoes. I am totally plant free!

So true. Only fats to get rid of are the vegetable oils, especially at air frying temperatures.

The funny thing is: I called Philips product support team and was told that Philips Premium air fryer XXL does CONTAIN PTFE, aka Teflon!

Fat is not the enemy. All non stick surfaces have chemicals that are harmful. Stainless steel and glass should be the only materials heated to prepare food. Isnt an air fryer essentially a convection oven ?

Just using an appliance with Teflon kills pet birds INSTANTLY. Um, I'd say that's pretty toxic, in and off itself. Saying something isn't THAT toxic is like saying a woman is SORT OF pregnant. Either it is, or it isn't...
