How to (sorta) play Kholek Suneater, Herald of the Tempest. One of the legendary Warriors of Chaos available for @totalwar Total War: Warhammer 1 and 2.
I think the fact Kholek gets ambushed more easily has less to do with his size and more to do with the fact a thunderstorm precedes him wherever he goes. He is litteraly the only lord who can be tracked by a weather sateleite
The dragonogre lore is actually hilarious, their deal was to become static and never change. Which is why they can not get chaos mutations and well, they stopped aging, so the dragonogres you see in game are the babies and toddlers of their race as REAL dragon ogres are the size of mountains... Yeah so Kholek sun eater is the 6 year old leading an army of 4 year olds and baby dragon ogres... which cracks me up every time.

@@tatarcavalry2342 Yes, the toddler that never grew up from that point onward. Don't get me wrong he is an absolute unit... like peaking over city walls as described in lore.... but his big daddy was mistaken for a literal MOUNTAIN in the trials of the ever chosen by Archeon as he went to retrieve the slayer of kings. So yeah Kholek was basically a toddler compared to the other shaggoths that where much younger than him.

@@patrik9328 Yes. If I recall correctly, Settra got gooned by Nagash. So the Chaos Gods promised Settra another chance at unlife if he served them. They just needed him to kill Kholek, and he agreed. So he goes, kills Kholek then tells the Chaos Gods to get stuffed because Settra does not serve, Settra rules! But for whatever reason GW didn't make it canon. So the cult of Settra (which I am part of) denies this fact and claims it is canon.
"They only pay you enough so you don't quit, work hard enough to just not get fired" Wisest words I've heard in a long time, particularly true for service branch (unfortunately most colleagues would rather sit on their ass rather than take pride in doing their work properly, and doing your work properly will go completely uncared for by whoever is the daily leader)
Stupid word's, just take service industry if you put your heart into it and provide good service you can make good on tips. If you just put in the bare minimum that's the output you'll get from life. But that's an easy excuse for lazy People to hide behind.
@@parikshitrao4208 late reply but I claim bullshit. I've worked service industry for quite some time now and tips don't mean shit. I work at a place where we do over 10-12k every day and everyone on the line is super nice and helpful and at the end of an 8 hr shift we only get like 3$ in tips. Wages need to be higher for this level of work to be acceptable. We have an insanely high turnover rate because people come in, work for a few weeks then get tired of the long hours and not super competitive pay. The only reason I'm still at this job is because I'm homeless and they let me sleep on the back patio which is locked up so I don't have to worry about being robbed at knifepoint in the middle of the night (happened 3 times before they let me)

I actually never thought about Centaurs from other races. Like, it makes sense if there's Human torso Centaurs, there would be Ogre torso centaurs... Like, it literally never occurred to me why there's only human torso Centaurs.

ive never played a single warhammer game and i know nothing about it,but i stumbled upon your videos. this game has the sickest lore/character design ive ever seen. im binge watching these videos because these characters are so interesting. queek is my favorite so far

There’s no order. Some were made back during Warhammer 2 so there start positions have changed. But all of them are still playable and mostly accurate for Warhammer 3
To be fair a chaos empowered Settra is probably the least embarrassing opponent for Kholek to die to in a glorious duel, but given the fact that he’s the size of a mountain... maybe not.

Just playing TWW2 coop with my friend, I play with kholek, he is with the dreadfleet. I have the Sword of khaine with kholek, he is lvl 40 now with maxed out yellow line. He is really ridicolusly powerful. He delets entire armies with ease by himself. (And he is not at 90% ward save yet, i have 62% or so + 50% missile res, but seems nothing truly can stand in his way) Actually I never played a melee lord this strong, I tought Louen Leoncour is OP, or Tyrion is OP, well Imrik was OP, but Kholek, he is a whole different league. Large single entity units? Monstous large units? Lords? Heroes? Cavalry? Infantry? Doesn't matter, he delets them, like they are nothing.I even soloed 3 full high tier armies with him, losing only about 30% HP on him. I even tought about disbanding his army and sending him by his own.
Claws? Who knows, maybe they're just called feet. I refer to dragon feet as 'talons', but if you want to be technical, it would be correct to refer to their forelegs as 'hands' and backlegs as 'feet' as that is the terminology used for reptile appendages

Spoiler : In AoS, The Chaos Gods did not fulfil their end of the bargain of freeing the Dragon Ogres after the end of the WHFB world. The Chaos Gods kept them as slaves. That's just mean.
Maybe the world has to be **completely** destroyed, the core survived, so Tzeentch pulled a "Technically, and also fuck you" to Krakanrok. Or maybe only Krakanrok survived and the release from chaos just meant that they don't yoink your souls after you die.
If you actually want to learn to play MilkandcookiesTW and LegendOfTotalWar both know how to beat the campaigns. For multiplayer try the Everchosen tournament streams from CA.
Yeah apparently he was not ready for setra himself so there is that downside also due to his size he is a easy target to focus down on with range so long as ammo is there to do it.
