I fucking love Vilitch. Literally his entire story is just Tzeench going "lmao you know what would be funny"

According to wiki :"Thinking himself lost forever, he suddenly found himself back within Tzeentch's realm. Vilitch's silent and brutish conjoined brother spoke for the first time in ages, revealing that it was he who had requested aid. Realising his peril too late, Vilitch's mind was wiped clean as his brother, so long subservient to his will, took control of the pair. "Vilitch" the Curseling was no more". Doesn't sound like Thommen was really in control for 30 years to me.

Vilitch: “Great Eagle I beseech you to grant me my brother’s strength” Tzeentch: “U know what would b funny? Lmao. “

Wait, I thought Thomen wasn't able to take control, but spent all those years praying to Tseenczh to allow him to take over, and eventually Tseenczh just decided "Lmao ok that sounds hilarious, let's do it" straight up trapping Vilitch in his own mind as Thomen got a switcheroo slapped on his brother.

I could've sworn that Vilitch's fate in the end times was different. I thought he failed to take a city and asked Tzeentch for more power, and Tzeentch granted his request by putting Thomin back in control.

"He was trying to beat the weak and pathetic out of him", ah the old norscan way of brotherhood, classic

When you play Miao Ying, this MFer quickly becomes a thorn in your backside. The worse is that you try to attack him and he just teleports around, while you waste a dozen turns trying to corner him... [Frustration]

As a Swede I was not expecting a Swedish prayer 😂It roughly checked out.

On the topic of the end times, while initially I thought of that twist as stupid, I just remembered, this is Tzeench we’re talking about. I think I’d be more surprised if he didn’t do something like give Torman the ability to take back over on a whim.

One Cool Easter egg if you click on vilitch hero icon a lot in his menu during campaign he breaks the fourth wall and will tell you to stop clicking it

Ironically, Vilitch was a key ally in my daemon prince campaign. I was honestly thinking of betraying him early on but then he kept winning, so I just went with it lmao

For those who don't know, both Vilitch and Kairos can both attack with the teleport stance and it triggers as an ambush. Making it very hard to get near the Great Bastion as he will just jump on an army getting to close and killing them.

Honestly I love Vilich's end times lore, I find it a great twist of fate and something Tzeentch would do after Vilich fails one too many times and whines like a petulant child. I'm pretty sure Tommen was actually trapped as a prisoner in his own body and unable to actually do anything the whole time, though, but I might be misremembering it and all. Regardless of that, the idea of Vilich becoming trapped in his own body and unable to do anything while Tommen takes control is satisfying, I don't know why but Vilich is super hateable as a character and I like seeing him get comeuppance for being a massive piece of shit throughout his lore

I don't care what anyone say about the end time. I find it hilariously poetic that Thorim manage to get the upper hand and reverse uno Vilitch like the end of a 90's nerd turn villain flick where the jock gives him a wedgie before the credits starts rolling. ...I mean it does open up some questions about their characters motivation. If Thorim had conscience all along, why did he let his brother do this to him? Was there, deep inside him, the feeling of regret for all the abuse he gave to his brother? Did he learn to admire his leadership now that he has power? Is there a small glimpse of brotherly love inside his husk of a body? Did he start to regain control because he didn't want his brother to be used by tzeentch? Does Vilitch feel the same way now that their roles are reversed? ...Or the writers just pulled that bit out of their butt cause monkey paw logic is always funny so let's do it again this late in the story.

I love the spawnify. Just dumping random chaos spawn in armies that are completely loyal to the army, thus most likely making fighting the army harder on you, and giving you absolutely no benefit what so ever is so perfectly a tzeentch move that if giving your enemies chaos spawn was a bug, I hope they never remove it.

He is also damn near un-killable once he gets his quest item. It's kinda amazing.

I like the Vilitch-Thomman switch in the end times, plays into how Tzeetch operates as well as punishes Vilitch for being a bit of an arrogant prick in the perfect way.

In a way Vilitch's story is a twisted version of Harry Potter's origin story. Both were abused, underfed, undervalued by their respective families and bullied by an older sibling who just happened to be bigger and stronger and lead a gang of bullies to pick on them as well. Only the main difference is for Harry it was his cousin Dudley, and for Vilitch it was his twin brother. And in Vilitch's case, one day Tzeentch said to him "You're a wizard Vilitch" and he fused with his brother and became an very powerful sorcerer.

I was attacked by 3 armies and my army died at some point but this insane Legendary Lord destroyed the rest himself. The fact that his shield was bearly depleted just added to insanity. Op hero.

>Thommin was in control the whole time and was just playing along. No, not at all. No idea where you got that idea. The twist is that Thommin had just enough brain left while being piloted to pray to Tzeentch at every day of every moment, much like Villitch did in times prior. So Tzeentch, being a massive fucking prick, waited right until it'd be adequate/Vilitch failed him and turned the tables. It's one of the few good things about the End Times and a lovely bookend to Villitch's tale.

Vilitch is the only mortal to ever surprise Tzeentch. It’s not the killing of his own but the way in wich he did.

3:00 Vilitch had artwork of being a two-body monstrosity since roughly 2008 when he was first introduced in Warriors of Chaos 7th edition. The model with Vilitch growing out of Thomin like an eyeless tapeworm thing is from 8th edition which was 2013.

So for playing warriors of chaos, there is a basic gist of emprie ownership, claim any settlement (specifically capitals) with that special symbol and anything lesser are given to vassels to argue over.

Do the Changing of Ways actually work?? The only one I’ve gotten to work is the one that gets rid of the map fog around a selected faction’s settlements. The rest don’t seem to do anything.

Best tip for playing Vilitch, kill Snikch get the Stalk skill, and now in most siege battles you can just ninja nearly immortal Vilitch to take the cap point and sit and wait, or you can use vilitch to bust down gates and go in and out as needed to shield recharge and you can solo the whole base use magic sparingly obviously the only LL I had a hard time soloing with max level ninja vilitch was Vlad but he still went down after a few attempts after shield recharge.
