Today we're back with Derail Valley Simulator! In this episode Hyce and I try racing the longest and heaviest train we ever have with 2-8-2 steam locomotives! Unfortunately this train is so large that we require 2 locomotives to get it done...

oh hey you mentioned owning and customizing engines. i believe thats on the future plans list though they didnt list too many custom parts from the derail valley future plans page " Customization This milestone is intended to extend playtime by introducing the ability to own and modify vehicles. For a future race perhaps a "relay" of sorts, start at harbor and make a plan to stop at set stations on a loop around the map ending back at harbor. Each station you stop at you have to decouple and park your current loco and spawn in a different type of loco to switch to!

A race idea for next time: Race a DE2 starting from anywhere you like, (You and Hyce, would of course start at the same place,) and pick the same job going wherever it says to go. However, on the way to the destination, you stop at the midpoint and pick up a new load going to the same destination.

Great victory kAN, well deserved congratulations on the achievement! I believe you can stand on the turn table and use scroll wheel to rotate it, Hyce doesn't use the cabin with the controls.

Also you could have the lines going straight through the tunnels instead of turns cause those turns will slow you up

im confirm for montreal but is more about comfort than brake and acceleration (but still be main part of why its rubber since we have bug hill to climb in tunnel its helps to keep traction on the track instead of metal that can slip hard in 10% incline and more ! 10% its only for the exemple)

The worst part of this video is that you still don't know to leave the throttle wide open and drive with the reverser and that at speed you can't generate pressure at 100-100. I wish hyce would watch your vids so he could teach you properly.

TBF you beat me by 9mins. without a run up we stalled at the same spot, i rolled back to the iron mine and hooked up a second 282, all was going well until i blew up an engine just after the MF. i reloaded and went straight into CSW and stopped 1/4 of a car from the passenger train. i backed up and then derailed at the next 60 so after this reload i drove in 3rd person the rest of the way. that was hard but next time im going to run 2 engines no run up straight from the iron mine, drop my helper so ive got breaks and we'll see what happens. Also i clock the 282 at 1000T i never try more especially up hill.
