Hi Stormy,i can't catch you anymore 🤣,i am late for over a month,i know. She is my late female singer that i adore ❤️. I knew her from Magnus Karlsson personal album and the metal opera heart healer again Magnus Karlsson album and I loved her voice. Later I have learned that she is the singer of the battle beast who never listen before 🤣 but now I saw some videos from them. Those Finnish have a lot of bands and i can't catch them, always find new bands, never ending. I love her song 💕 her voice is very special and very hard/metal voice, she can sing everything and her voice is so unique and amazing and I believe that Magnus love her voice like Annette Olson's voice and used them both often in his albums. I don't want to put the song in one genre i love just the good music 💖 I found the video clip great 😂 and funny. See you next!!!
I think I was able to expect this 70s/hippie kind of mood because Janis Joplin is one of her idols, so it didn't come as surprise. It was her voice that carried the song, and it was all natural and powerful and expressive, so who cares about genres.
This bluesy/country/soul music is what Noora actually sang before joining Battle Beast. In her promo video she said she was going back to these musical roots, so it wasn't a surprise to me, but I'm sure its probably not what unsuspecting Battle Beast fans would be looking for. I'm glad she has the freedom to do whatever she wants creatively. As far as genre preferences go, cant say old school blues rock is my favourite, but you know for other people that is the good stuff. If the songs good, if the vocals are good, I like to explore new things.
Hi Stormchild ! I was positively surprised when I heard this track on the day it was released. I love the bluesy feeling in some parts & the pure rock ending, and Noora’s voice is awesome through the whole song. Dobro & slide, quite different from Battle Beast isn’t it ? And it’s a funny video, it looks like a road movie.
The video kinda remind me of 4 non Blonds with a mixture of the 60's and 70's. Noora was awsome, loved her voice. Would love to see her with Lzzy Hale from Halestorm and Angela from Arch Enemy sing together
Have you heard Netta Laurenne? She is a hard rocking singer as well, and making a co-operation album together with Noora. So it should be something similar to what you suggested there.
@@Aurinkohirvi I'm looking forward to the Laurenne/Louhimo colab. There is a song called 'Still Alive' by a band called Black Sun. It featured many notable Finnish singers, 2 of which were Noora and Netta (also Tony Kakko, Mr Lordi). I really like the track so if its something like that I wouldn't mind. Check it out if not already.
@@Aurinkohirvi I remember checking that out yeah. When I saw they would be doing a joint album I did some sloothing on Netta to get an idea what the style would be. I'm thinking perhaps a more modern hard rock type sound but we shall see. I could never understand why an Ecuadorian band ends up doing collab with Finns. I think her husband is the producer or involved in managing these things behind the scenes. Anyhow, I see you post on alot of Battle Beast or Noora vids. Consider subscribing to the Battle Beast reddit page, r/battlebeastband. It's a board just to discuss anything about the band. It's small so only a few people post anything, we need more peeps to contribute to the community. Even if it's just leaving thoughts when new album or singles get released, etc. Perhaps gig experiences etc . I was 2nd to join and am a mod. Its approaching 100 members now. You'll see I try and post stuff to keep some activity going but I can't exactly discuss thoughts on the band with myself. More people are likely to join if they see activity and a reason to join. Eventually once it scales it takes care of itself but in the early stages, some conscious effort to post and ask people to join really makes a difference.
Hello!! Yeah, I heard about this upcoming soloalbum of hers about a month ago and I more or less had a pretty strong feeling how it's going to sound😅.. I definetily knew it's not going to be metal☝️.. I don't remember have I heard her solostuff before or did I make my assumption only based on the stories that my friends told me when they were a warm-up band for Noora once!!.. Yes, you heard right, they really were a warm-up band for her once😅... Although, I'm not sure if "friends" is completely right word because the band I'm talking about is actually THAT band I was kicked out about 15 years ago so not really "friends" but people I know😅 Aaaanyway, nothing to do with this one☝️.. it was pretty rockish and maybe I could compare this with some late 70's, early 80's styles that I've heard🤔 . Pretty melodic and nice to listen on a backround but I agree this was nothing SO special for me personally😬.. Someway I also see everyone listen this while they're driving😂, don't know where that thought came out but the melody just fits perfectly into that situation😅, and ofcourse the video might had its effect too😂😂.. nice instrumentation especially with that "clean" guitar👌.. Good singing by Noora ofcourse but damn I hate when she has to back down and not showing her full potential🙄, I mean, yes there were couple high notes and ofcourse they sounded great but still someway I wasn't THAT impressed and they didn't give me goosebumbs😬... But nice backround track, still not really my style😅.... What was that drilling in the end😂😂... You need to put a note in the front door that you are recording so they know to be guiet😂 funny interference all of a sudden btw😂 Thanks, catch you later 👍
Hi Juhis,i met her from Magnus Karlsson albums and especially the latest release metal opera heart healer, she and Annette Olson are my favourites but all the girls who singing are great. The single "into the unknown" is fantastic and I love all the parts with her also!!! After i have learn that she is a singer of battle beast who never listen before 😂 and always believed that they had male singer. So many bands in your country, always i learn more and never ending. Wish you a good time!! So now I listened some songs 🤣 from them, little different than what I had listen before from Noora. I like the song, because I like her special and unique voice,i believe she will can sing everything!!
@@Aurinkohirvi Yep i missed BB and my first time to try to visit the band always confused with beast in black who has male singer and is i believe from Sweden. Yes Noora is fantastic singer,i like her performances i saw few till now and thank you for telling me that was another good singer in the band. But i will find more new Finnish singers i believe in the future ,you have so so so many great bands.
@@stasa-X Ahaa, yeah, people confuse with the near similar name bands. Yannis from Sweden? No idea but his ehtnicity is Greek however, and he is a wonderful singer as well!

Oh, so psychedelic. The video, don't think the song is psychedelic. I didn't expect Noora would do power/symphonic metal on her album in style of Battle Beast. In fact I was thinking it would be quite intensive rock. So, this had an intensive middle part, but otherwise it was really mellow, blues or country fashion. Loved the guitar sound in the beginning and was wondering what the heck, can you play guitar like kantele? Obviously you can. So it started slow but I was fascinated of the video and only realized in middle part that the beginning was so slow and relaxed. And hell yeah loved the middle part where she went more wild! The end I think continued a bit too long, when listening I was hoping a more definate and sharper end, but it just jammed to the space slowly dissipating... but writing this I realize it was more fitting to the song's nature actually. Not gonna be a big hit song, it's too much of a country road humming for that. But it may go well on the album if it has harder rocking songs (as I still expect) as well. Yeah I heard Noora is making her own album, which is why I was surprised she will make another one with Netta Laurenne (of Smackbound).. And I think Battle Beast is making their album as well. But this release got me by surprise. Man you have a poker face SC! Broke it only once. Not the first time I've noticed it. I'm pretty sure I had a wide smile.
Actually that was not why I was surprised of hers and Netta's co-operation. Said it wrong. I was just generally surprised, it sounded like too good to be true.
@@stasa-X Hey Anastasia! Naw, I had nothing to do with it and can't myself sing if my life depended on it. I suppose when there's plenty of metal bands in the country, some of them manage to get good singers. Has beach season started in Greece already?
@@Aurinkohirvi Nah, this year our weather is more close to Finland's,we have upsown down, one week perfect near 20 degrees and the next week near to snowing,hah hah. But soon especially in the south the beaches will open. Our Easter this year is 2 of May and i want to make a mini vacation for 4 or 5 days,if they allow me to travel because of Covid and locked down,i don't know what happens next,in one month from now. Yesterday we had new record of infections. How is the things in Finland? You have winter tourism.
@@stasa-X Ah, it's a nuthouse here too. I think all we have now is domestic tourism. But spring is coming, snow is melting, it's sunny outside. So not too bad 🙂. Enjoy your Easter!
