Bahahaha! I had an anxiety attack with every new ride, so no, I won't try any of them! Just when I thought you were as shocked as you could get, another would come, and you'd say, "What the Hell is that?" I died laughing! Thanks, Lyle! This was a fun ride! No pun intended!
Watching this video 2 words come to mind "HELL NO" they never know when enough is enough 😂 actually I understand the thrill and the adrenaline rush from pushing the envelope, I did bungee jump twice in my 20s and I've ridden a motorcycle to speeds of 160 miles per hour.
I've done 2 at the Stratosphere. The drop, which bounced up and down, making me nauseous, and the #1, which was excellent. After it shoots you off the building, it brings you back up and does it again. The second time, as you're stopped and staring at the ground far below, it drops you down and forward so you feel like it's breaking and you're about to plunge to your death. Like I said, it's excellent! Due to wind conditions, the other ride was closed. Bummer.
I'm not scared of heights or anything, but when I see one of these rides, all I can think is, "This was built by the lowest bidder." They're all perfectly safe, until they're not. I just don't see the point.
Those rides at The Strat are terrifying from the ground to see. Although my son went on one of The Strat rides can't remember which .If it's more that 3' off the ground no thank you. The grumpy guy doesn't mind heights ( he was a steeple jack industrial painter and even he wouldn't ride any of those) and I don't mind spins (he pukes) so we don't ride anything together. He did go on the Mind Bender at Six Flags Over Georgia and the drop there... but no thank you I'll stick to the tornado type rides and carousels .
There was a time I would have been all over those. Unfortunately, that time is not now. There is absolutely no way you could get me on any one of those. I used to be all about thrill rides, until they turned stupid. Now, all the nopes!
I've never liked coasters (I miss the carousel now that my vertigo has gotten ridiculous) but the stuff in this video? I was getting nauseated just watching! I'll stay in the arcade, wherever it is even if it's in the next town over, until y'all get done! See if this poster has a video for Cedar Point since he said they do theme parks. CP does have some pretty scary coasters, but nothing on the same level as those rides. I remember the hysteria when the Demon Drop opened! Sadly, I think Cedar Point is going away, though. I heard they were bought by Six Flags, which is a shame. Granted I haven't been there in decades but I still miss the memory of Frontier Town's crafts people and the haunted carousel. Great reaction! I'm right with you - NO, nuh uh, NOPE, not doing that!
Nope. That last one! It seems way too easy to go off the end of that. 2 minutes of adrenaline rush ain't worth it to me! I loved rollercoasters when I was younger but, not like these.🫣
