The only thing im worried about in this episode is Barry is going to cry out and reveal but not right away , to Henry and Nora what is about to happen and it is exactly the kind of damage inflicted to time that will allow Cobalt Blue to happen

Maybe the reason Barry cant go back is because he needs to be apart of the murder to stop his younger self from interfering. Maybe with all the timeline changes this moment changed too and this is the speed forces way of correcting the timeline thus not allowing barry to leave until he finishes what he has to do 👍

He's not coming back because he was booted from the series because of old Twitter posts which was ridiculous. They brought him off pretty much at the end of season 7 even though he hadn't been seen since season 6..

The Flash Season 9 finale will be where Barry Allen recruits Oliver Queen, Ryan Choi and Kendra Saunders to help him in his greatest battle ever against Eobard Thawne, that decides his fate. Flash and Reverse-Flash will run back in time to the year 2000 and Nora Allen will die, creating a time loop that makes the show go full circle back to The Flash Season 1!!!

I hope the Cobalt Blue storyline turns out better than the Red Death one. This season of The Flash has so far been a huge disappointing letdown. Unpopular opinion, but I think Oliver returning is stupid. Seems like such a cheap cop out. This entire first half of the season has been shit so the writers bringing back such a fan favorite is there way of just raking in easy cash. Oliver’s send off was so meaningful, so if they don’t explain his reason for popping up or bringing Barry to whatever realm in great detail, and if the reason isn’t genuine and a top tier crisis, then this is just fan service. Don’t get me wrong, I will watch it just like every other fan but if it’s just “oh I need you Barry” then I’ll just feel like why can’t Oliver just resurrect himself all the time.
