So many great anime have fallen to dumb business men who don’t turn a profit after a few years. They legit stopped this show because they didn’t sell enough blue ray discs. Streaming saved some anime but not soon enough.

Some anime came back after like 20+ years. We still have a chance And from what i've read is that the next arc is gonna be the best one in the series.

Noragami isn't nearly as mainstream as Bleach is and imo Bleach is a lot better. Although I would still like to see a season 3 for Noragami.

Rare considering quality shows like Blue Exorcist and Devil is a Part Timer left us dry, yet stuff like Naruto and One Piece never end or get an insane number of seasons. Heck, I really like Fairy Tale, but they are milking every drop from the poor thing.... glad this show has us covered though.

The anime almost always base on some kind like manga,LN,... and its purpose is to boost the origin sale of that anime. So when it achieved its purpose , they'll more than likely stop making it. the manga went on hiatus for a while bc of the authors health, so maybe they need new material still for it to be 12-13 eps? im not sure if it still is actually, it was a while ago and the author could’ve recently came back.

@@areetazoha2530 I've heard there's enough material out currently for 2-3 more seasons, that's definitely not the problem. I also heard the second season's Blu-Ray sales didn't do as well as the first season's, so I guess Bones has it low on its priority list and that's why we don't have a third season. I mean, at least they didn't drop it like A-1 did with The Seven Deadly Sins. Honestly if Noragami goes that route, I'd rather have no season. EDIT: It also seems the manga sales are low right now (probably because of the slow release rate due to health issues), so if you can, buy the manga! If you don't want to spoil yourself in case the anime comes back someday, you could always buy the earlier volumes. In fact, the anime cuts out most of chapter one, so you'll have some extra stuff to read. And the art is very beautiful. I bought one and it's definitely worth it if you want to support Noragami.

I know its so goddamn good and it has even got plenty of manga content to make a new season but unfortunately the studio did not profit well enough from this show so it is unlikely that they will make a new season. But we can still hope, and I think once the studio is "out of shows" they may focus on a new Noragami season
