Here's a quick tip about assigning after touch to control the speed of the rotary speaker. There's a bonus tip at the end about assigning organ swell to a control pedal. Check back for more tips! linktr.ee/bronsonhoover
Hi Bronson ! Fantastic Tip ! and, the swell Tip also. I ordered my triple pedal but, is not available until July.. This really helps me out big time to manage my rotary control until I get my pedal..
Great tips, thanks! I have to add that organ swell and the volume slider are not the same thing, though: swell is pre leslie, volume is post everything.
Good point! I don't think I'm going to use the organ on the Stage 4 for much more than pads. Most of my organ playing will still be on the Electro 6. But you're absolutely right.
@@BronsonHoover Sir - as I type this I have just downloaded the 28 page user manual (English version, obviously). I think I have just done a little wee in my Toy Story underpants with all the excitement!! Please tell me, are all these tips: 1) Expressly stated in the document 2) Sort of there, but you have to think about, say “copy & paste” and realise it works for several settings. So they’re half there, if that makes sense. 3) Not in there at all. You’ve found by accident or elsewhere. If so how? Thanks in anticipation.
@@johnscott4693 I share in your Toy Story underpants excitement ... but I haven't read a manual since 1984. These tips I'm posting are little things I've discovered on my own as I'm working with the Stage 4. I have no association with Nord I'm just really having fun with the keyboard.
I use the K&M 18820 Omega Pro Table Stand. I abhor X-stands because they feel too wobbly. This table stand is a beast. chucklevins.com/products/k-m-18820-omega-pro-table-style-keyboard-stand
Thanks, following your channel. I am finding my Leslie switches on briefly then switches off again, whne using After Touch. Wondering if there is a fix?
It's all about how hard you touch. At first I felt a need to really press hard, and stay pressed to get the rotary to stay on fast. But after a few shows I was able to adjust my touch and find a sweet spot. But the point of AT is about a temporary change, so if you want it to stay fast (or slow), you'll need to keep the pressure consistent. Hope that helps.
