The seller is a SCUBA pioneer who previously owned a Nordhavn 55 (Starfish) and after selling her a few years ago contacted Jeff Merrill (who was then working with PAE/Nordhavn) to inquire about building the new aft pilothouse design created using the most popular hull Nordhavn has ever developed. They spent several weeks working through the details to create the particulars for this exceptional yacht.
KOKOMO's aft pilothouse profile is a tribute to her genealogic predecessor, the iconic Nordhavn 62. Benefiting from the knowledge of millions of offshore miles the time tested Nordhavn philosophy has once again proven exceptional with the Nordhavn 63 model incredibly popular. More than twenty hulls have been delivered or on order as of this video publishing date in June 2018.
