dem ist nix hinzuzufügen. Wo du Recht hast, da haste nun mal Recht. Hab ja oft genug schon "Dadongs" live mitbekommen.
It seems there are two corners that are just murderous. I like seeing the saves far more than seeing the crashes. It hurts me deep, seeing these cars get smashed.
Adolph Oliver Bush Indeed, I drive on it on Assetto Corsa all the time which is laser scanned. I use a Logitech G27 steering wheel and I lose control sometimes when the tires are not warmed up yet.
6:20 "Darling, our family wagon is gonna need some fixing up." "Oh?" "Yeah. It was a little damp and I oversteered in a corner." "Are you alright? Where were you then?" "Setting a hotlap at the Nurburgring..." "Setting a what?! You're sleeping on the couch today." "Of course honey."
A great compilation! Thankyou for your professional camera work in all the years and watching your videos never was a waste of time. Have a good christmas time and I wish you the best for 2015.
Probably because e36 is a cheap, relatively quick RWD car. I assume its pretty common, particularly in germany. Doesnt hurt so much when you crash it if its worth a thousand bucks.
Aye, it's cheap, and even i, as an avid Mercedes Fan, have to admit it's quite a reliable and good car. Remember, BMW can build the cars, but they can't chose the drivers. We (in germany) have so many safety and security regulations, strict norms a car has to fulfill, that you can be quite sure, im 99/100 cases, an accident is the driver's fault, not the car's one.
This course is so amazingly tricky. I've spent YEARS in Gran Turismo 6 and still have yet to master it in simulation, let alone the real deal. Some of the turns come up on you in strange ways, the Green Hell is a terrifying track to conquer. The crowning of the road in some sections is a foot or more difference from the edge. One must learn not only every turn, but how each area of road is slightly different from the last. All in all, this is the track that makes great drives, IMO. It is a combination of tricky corners, varying asphalt conditions, different crowning conditions, and endurance due to the length. Good luck to my fellow drivers if you ever plan to tackle this beast.
Notice how all the guys/girls with the classic Porches are getting so damn lucky and not touching the wall, just as well fixing those would be terribly expensive haha
@@SlightlyDank yeah so many people seem to think the Honda was at fault… The Golf should not have been driving so close to his limit. If he had been going slower, he could have easily gone around
I really appreciate the disclaimer that no one was seriously injured. I would hate to see a video with a bad outcome, that would definitely leave a scar. Much love from the UK ❤️
That one low-speed turn must have had some oil or coolant spilled on it. Never seen so many low-speed spins and motorcycle wipeouts. Very slick surface there!
This video is a great tool that will help most of the drivers understand what is the difference between professional drivers and cars build for racing and the average random guy behind a wheel ! Tarmac needs some respect and before you attempt to push a car to its limits you must first know very well how it will react in a curve or after it.
4:34 Why? WHY do so many people accelerate as they exit that corner rather than after they've fully exited it. The same happens in racing sims like GT and Assetto Corsa.
Der Honda war weg von der Linie. Und der Golf etwas arg unterwegs. Ich sehe es genauso: Selbst bei vorsichtiger Fahrweise bist du auf dem Ring nie sicher. Drum, nein danke!
88jord88 Yes, because every single car that's ever been on the Nurburgring is German and driven by a German. There's no possible way that anyone could bring a car from somewhere like the UK to race it around the track. Oh wait.
rallyeoberehe you know what rallyeoberehe? your right, it probably was a man but there was obviously a lady in the car, thats probably why they crashed was because she was giving directions ;)
That and I would imagine most people aren't on the ring too much, so they're not used to all that rubber on a purpose built track. Then again, I'm American, what do I know?
***** You'd be surprised how often internet warriors throw that out anyway. If I didn't say that, there would've been about 6 people posting "You're American aren't you" already.
Yeah, right. If your losing the grip, dont brake, that will take the rest of your grip. Steer out of the situation ore if you have a FWD, give it som gas. Easy to say but....
That S2000 was moving criminally slow, though.... Like if you wanna drive that slow stay off race tracks. I hope S2000 took some blame for it. They are staying off the racing line to let people pass but still... driving slow on a race track is a very bad idea. Hell, it's such a bad idea it's illegal to go a certain amount under the limit on public roads in most countries.
Funny thing is he most likely payed less crashing into the other as if in the barrier. Anyone who already crashed into the Nordschleife barrier knows what I'm talking about lol
@@gupiwa there is no racing line because it is not a race. Tourist days are public road rules. Slow on right, fast on left. It is 100% the golf's fault because he forgot he's not a race car driver, just another doofus with a Golf.
There had to be oil on that slow uphill right hand bend. So many cars and bikes lost it mid corner on the inside. 2:52, 6:11, 6:28, 6:32, 6:42, 6:58, 7:18. Probably someone spilled a bit of diesel.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think it could be due to the elevation change and speed, the dampers will unload at the top of the hill, causing the rear to become very 'light weight/floaty' feeling and with that, the wheels will spin easily and loose control... Road dampers and springs aren't the best for track driving...
Jordan Taylor You're absolutely right. Another contributing factor is that it's the exit of a relatively slow corner, so drivers accelerate with quite a lot of wheel torque there.
nope just a shit ton of people who once they get on the ring,(and since they have driven it in a video game) think they automatically become a factory GT driver.
If you notice it's because most drivers are treating the throttle like an on/off switch, and are stomping on it as soon as they can see the exit before the car is stable, listen to the engine sounds. They should be gently feeding it in.
At 7.50 going the other way around the track ?? both carrusel corners is lefthanders .... and the following at 7.54 is just pure epic , starts with massive understeer , and a few honks and its just like he/she hit the wall once they might just hit it twice LOL ...
***** who the Fuck said people who use left hand to write is bad drivers you muppet. I say the guy who crashed was going RIGHT into the carrousel corner which is a corner turning left normally.
This was at the Rallye Köln-Ahrweiler where they had to drive the Nordschleife backwards. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mKu0fY0p1GE.html
You can really tell tell the difference from the noobs and pros at the craches, the noobs always break out the rear and then drive the front into the wall while the pros always try to countersteer to prevent damaging their car.
harakiru But when oversteering its best to give throttle to pull the car out of the slide. Braking while oversteering is almost always gonna result in spinning out.
