I have a BSA Superstar. 177 underlever (few years old now) and from a seated position, resting with my arms on my knees it gave me a group of 6 shots inside 1 inch at 60 yards. Marvellous rifle, has dealt with many rabbits, squirrels and pigeons over the years. .177 and has been good for rabbits out to 50-60 yards.
Like that nice wood stock Nate! Costs a little more than i expected though. I never get tired of those explosive targets either. Great shooting and review brother.😊
oh man! you gotta get a pack of those Firebird 65's. Super loud if you put them against something hard. Best hits here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uPrPdRfFItY.html&pp=ygUaZmlyZWJpcmQgdGFyZ2V0cyBiZXN0IGhpdHM%3D buy them here: firebirdtargets.com/product/firebird-65-bio-targets/
I have a gamo swarm magnum 10x gen2 22 cal and its powerful and accurate it feels good to be able to just pick up your air rifle and pellets and go hunt and dont have to be worried about hauling hand pump and air compressor and scuba tanks around the best break barrel is the gamo swarm magnum
@@benjaminaffrunti4405 hog and deer on the large size I have vegetables garden and they destroy it and I'm also in the city limits as I can't shoot a fire arm and air rifle is not a fire arm head shots 35 yards an closer
@@ahmondeboxley2950 I've always felt the swarm magnum is capable of taking most any game 200lbs or under with a clean headshot and I've seen pictures of a few hogs taken with the swarm magnum. It is nice to hear from people like yourself that have actually done it. I have many PCP's from .177 to .45 cal and every PCP I own is stronger than the Swarm Magnum but that being said the guns I purchased specifically for SHTF are my Swarm magnums because they don't require an external air source. Not that I would attempt to get into a gunfight with someone who had a powder burner but if I was in a life or death situation I wouldn't hesitate to use them for self defense either!!
@@AirgunChannel I'm leaning more towards hopes for a hatsan or benjamin magnum, the diana 54 is great, but only 23 foot pounds .22.....I'm nerding out at the thought of a hatsan 130 with a no recoil system😭
Oh lol you got a Triumph jubileum version? nice and in my faforite colour, used to have a mark 3 from 69 sold it to my (garage holder) neighbour. did not want to revive it myself any more.
Great review, and a very nice looking Triumph TR7. Not seen to many of them in the UK recently. Unfortunately they suffered from rust over here so I don’t think there’s too many left. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think you have a Z series Datsun/Nissan as well. 👍👍
It's funny my TR7 will not even rust even when you chip the paint. It has a really good undercoding. Over here the Datsuns rusted really bad. I have a shiny blue 280Z that drives but it's pretty rusty. Then I have one in the garage that I'm building and it has no rust at all. That 1 is going to be bad ass. Very rare to find a rust free Z car. The Z cars are 1978 and the TR7 is 1976 with a 5 speed.
@@AirgunChannel The Z series Datsun’s in the UK were quite rare back in 1970’s/ 80’s. I bought mine (260 2+2) a 1977 model around 1983 which was a very clean car with no rust. Regrettably I sold after owning for around 10 years. Haven’t seen any over here for several years now.
Funny after so many years, they copyd the Feinwerkbau, 150, 300, 300s system, Gamo also copyd this years ago with a 10 meter competition rifle, nice rifle that Norica
@@AirgunChannel Well, i was lucky enough to obtain one from the (Dutch) Frakor collection, its a El Gamo statical form 1975 :) so they are not so much arround any more. thx for your entertaining vids so far.
I have an old wooden Ruger break barrel that I tuned and turned in to a magnum. It has some recoil and you have to be careful which scope you use or it will F it up.
Recoiles airguns are great for hinting, but I find them so boring to shoot; it's like you're not doing anything, no feedback. Give me a springer that tells me I'm shooting something. I was considering on buying a PCP, but after shooting one at the range & got bored after shooting about 5 shots. I went back to my old springer & loved the recoil, the sound & the added marksman skill required for a springer. It's definitely not boring. I don't understand why people enjoy recoilless airguns so much. Thanks for your video.
@@AirgunChannel Ya, that was sorta painful to watch Nate lol 😂 16 yards yeeash I have a Hw50 that will keep a dime size hole up to 30 to 35 yards and it's only shooting 10 fpe!
I use them in my Hunter Extreme 25 wood stock version . The one rifle that didn't care for the JSB Exact 25.39 so I tried the H&N 's . Maybe will retry after break-in . So far impressed with H&N pellets .
Yes...and I wonder if it is hold sensative, even though your not feeling it. I held it more still as I kept shooting. Maybe that's why the groups got better.
May only like cheap .25 cal pellets. I had a break barrel a while back that wouldn’t shoot good pellets accurately but when I put some cheap Chinese pellets in it☠️💯. Damn near hole in hole.🤷♂️
I agree. I love break barrel rifles, own 7 of them, but that price point is absurd. You can get a great break barrel for 200-300 TOPS. plus , MPP and PCP rifles offer better shooting in terms of no-to-low felt recoil, but break barrels offer unique advantages that will make them always relevant in the airgun world
I'm literally waiting to get my crossman back from the cops after some idiot called the cops on me. I even received an apology off his boss. Anyway I know by the way they through it in the boot that they fucked my scope. So I'm thinking of of getting one of the noricos. But the black n red design I really like and 25cal. Mmm
Nice video! But Not impressed at all. The grouping would be ok at 50y, Not 16. as the Camera shows its clearly Not your fault, and Even with the zero recoil System it should be more accurate than a normal one. My Hatsan 125 does 760fps with the 25,4gr kings and does this group at 50..
Break barrels just don’t have great accuracy. With some less expensive pcp airguns that shoot so well available I would suggest anyone interested skip the break barrels and just buy a pcp airgun.
@@braddbradd5671break barrel accuracy is very dependent on hold. PCP airguns shoot the same all the time. And a pcp airgun can be adjusted to one’s needs easier. But people like what they like. I get it.
That's what people say that don't really know break barrels. I have 3 that will one hole at 25 yards. I bought this gun in red. The problem with mine was the action would rotate left and right in the action throwing pellets off. I noticed the bluing rubbing off on one side of the breech block and discovered it rotates to the side enough to rub the stop. This gun would one hole pellets otherwise at 25 yards. I also have this gun in .22 caliber. I still have the 3x9 scope from it. Never had an issue with breaking scopes as this is really only at 14-16 FPE gun. My will shoot quarter in groups at 30 yards easy. I was shooter 12 oz soda cans at 75 yards with it before I started shooting paper.
