I thought we were dating the T-Rex, and my brain just accepted that as reasonable without question.

man, I hate it when I try to date someone and a random t-rex eats me out of nowhere

"Based on a true story" So there was someone who visit a bar once and get eaten by a T-Rex. Sucks to be them.

I misread the title and thought you could try dating the T-Rex. I played myself. Game looks interesting. Can't wait for it to come out.

As always, cool to see ManlyBadassHero play one's game. His community tends to be pretty fun and nice to hang out with. We can mention that you can play the demo with real bands, which means there are 4 other tracks in the beginning of the game you can choose from. And that you can actually also change the music on the jukebox after the monsters come. There are three different horror music tracks, so you can choose what the background music should be. And nope, he did not find ALL the secrets in the demo, but he is probably the one who has found the most.

I like this more silly approach the devs are taking with this one, and being by the same devs that made Typhon we at least know this will get finished in the next year.

The "Help me!" is recycled from Project Typhon, near the beginning, where the Danish guy dies. The big thing that killed you at the end was monster from near the end of Project Typhon. Game is loaded with references to Project Typhon.

My brain parsed "I was afraid to go up there because - there are a lot of butterflies" as a single sentence, and I was VERY confused until Manly continued his thought on the enemy AI. 😂

The fact you changed the song to “In the Hall of the Mountain King,” which references a play where the main character falls for a hit girl only to learn her parents are basically monsters is just perfect.

Is it just me or does the 8 bit horror style music make the aesthetic of any horror game manly plays 10x better??

Honestly, the sprite work is great and I love the character designs, it's just... confusing. They just kinda throw you in with very little understanding of what's actually happening.

The fact that protagonist is one handing a shotgun and reloading it with a flick of the wrist just says he ain't playing no games👀🤣

_Six guys walk into a nightclub..._ Just a normal night for a bachelor party, except it's the club in From Dusk till Dawn. All they missed was Salma Hayek's dance with the snake. Great movie references in an absurd premise that worked. The little humorous touches made it that much better. Looking forward to the full game and you uncovering all the secrets MBH!

I played this demo at the start of the fest, didn't realise there was 3 endings though! But this so far has been my favourite demo of the festival honestly. Great humor, solid gameplay and controls, my only issue was a terrible resolution and no brightness made it impossible for me to see the tenticle section aha

That monster that flattened you is like me when I wake up in the morning for school, work, interviews, appointments or when I have to go out to get something. Also I liked that you chose 'no' and still got to pet the dog.

Project Typhon was really interesting, and this demo already has me intrigued. Death being necessary to progress could allow some memorable puzzles, not to mention some secrets.

I really like the horror and surreal vibe to this. This game will probably be *a very deep rabbit hole* and I can kinda guess what's the premise but already, this is winning me over. And the T-Rex. C'mon. Who doesn't love dinosaurs in a game? :D

the magic circle from dying too may be a reference to Bayonetta's "Witch Time" ability, which triggers whenever she performs a good dodge. (Same/similar design makes me think that anyways.) :D

Manly, you are indeed thinking of Gilgamesh Although the design is close to Chaos, it's Gilgamesh that wears the mask. I know because I just got past the Big Bridge in FF5

What is interesting is that it is said that angler fish bait other fish with their glowing antenna thing, well in this case it's bachelors getting baited by the weird creatures that decapitate people, baiting them in a similar fashion, smart move by the devs lol

This game has a pretty familiar vibe for some reason. Like general 90's games. They usually had a lot of eastereggs hidden away here and there.
