@Iker Romero Ragues bruh, you can do judgment cut up to 4 times in a row without any cancel, with cancels you can straight up fly, and that's base DLC. Like everyone can do more than 2 judgment cuts up to 4 judgement cuts into the Judgment cut: End even. Fun Fact: If you manage to string 4 judgment cuts together, Vergil will say the iconic line "Jackpot."
This is some seriously impressive shit but you don’t really need to know how to do this for completing the higher difficulties thats all about dodging and staying in the air and maybe knowing the most efficient DPS
Nice! If I may offer a little advice, there are a lot of pauses in your combos, an example would be in between sword strikes in Air Combo B. You could use this time to use one of the summons swords moves (blistering swords, etc.). Another example is in that last combo, that air trick after your use of Void Slash. That could have easily transitioned into a quick Starfall.
Another thing that bugs me is the "attack flurry" sections where he cancels with air trick repeatedly. Personal preference probably, but it looks more mash-y than it probably is
1:50 - 1:59 was really cool, for some reason it feels like parallel universes intersecting and switching places with Vergil, doing that flurry of attacks
NORMAL my guy I just got the game with Vergil and started playing because he’s… well cool. The best thing I have done yet is maybe a combo where I got an S and to be honest I don’t think i am gonna get any better lol because I don’t really understand how these combos in the vid work
Nah you may feel like you won’t get better but you definitely will You’ll get a feel for it and start stringing combos yourself without practicing if you play a bit more
Switch weapons often, once a combo on for example yamato is done you can switch to mirage blade or beuwolf gloves and punch the enemy even more, also just play vergil a lot once u understand most of his moves you'll be able to make combos without even thinking of them
Although combos like these may seem complex, with a patience and time theyre not really that hard. I used to watch Vergil combos on youtube before getting the game and it blew my mind cuz they looked tough as fuck. After getting my hands on him though i learnt pretty quick (this channel played a huge part too lol). Thankfully his arsenal isnt as vast as dante's and moveset is compact and simple. I still have a lot of trouble timing more than 2 JCs at the same time though so this is still really impressive to me 😭
i cant even lie the parts with just spam air trick and random attacks doesnt look nearly as nice as when you actually know what you are doing. Canceling the knock off lunar phase looks great though if you are doing an air combo and want to have it extended.
As much as your combos are good, they use the same moves over and over, try to mix it up to make it look good. I wouldn't call the insane combo much different from normal tbh.
He basically is just mashing. Half of those inputs have no actual use and the combo would’ve worked perfectly fine without them. The analog stick movement is completely pointless, shooting does nothing, trick does nothing since he’s already trying (and failing since it’s not doing anything) to jump cancel those moves except add that blur effect that I guess looks okay, mashing taunt and attack at the same is weird and pointless as in this sequence you literally can’t tell them apart.
I don’t mean to be a party pooper but all of these combos are high beginner or intermediate level at best. People in comment section making a mountain out of a molehill. Especially 1:55 this sequence of were the dopple is doing absolutely nothing. 😂 On that note. Using trick down is alway better than watching Vergil fall to the ground. DT Rapid slash can be canceled with any other ground input except neutral Yamato slash. Always summon dopple in haste mode. Especially if you’re doing air combos. Air combo at the end there, dopple was doing nothing. He didn’t have enough time for an attack to come out.
The "insane" combo was just spamming the abilities near the enemy, the masterpiece combos include position changing around the enemy, like teleporting on the ground, flying away by starfall, sending enemy far away (but he still must stay in air)
I watch these videos to compare myself to, proud to say I at least meet all of this video's standards :D Wish the Vergil/Dante boss was faster and more close-quarters, like DMC3 or Jetstream Sam
Your Hard combo is "Insane" And your Insane combo is "Hard" For me, combos goes more insane from each individual atk spd control Still you rock af sir.
Hard combo and Insane combo shoulda been reversed because there was a lot more in the Hard combo than the Insane one, but overall those combos were nasty and I need to accomplish stuff like this ASAP 😂
