Its a silver salt solution. It, i.e. the silver metal deposit, has to be lacquered to stop it going black from air exposure. Here in the UK, a company called custon creation paints, supplies the kits.
An explanation of what the hecks goin on would of been nice. I've never seen anything sprayed on over and over in that manner, and not make things worse.
Interesting, but I notice, even with all that wet 'product' being sprayed about the news paper doesn't become sodden. You would have thought it would have started to fall apart. In one shot, a jet from the spray gun hits the newsprint and it appears to remains dry!
The reason water dissolves paper is because the water itself dissolves the glue. It has nothing to do with being a liquid, only that the glue is activated by water.
@@cjsiglerii If you think chrome looks good on a pink car, then that says a lot about how seriously we should take your opinion. Let me guess, you also think those monstrosities from an old show called "Pimp my ride" looked good as well?
For all of you who say it's fake or it falls off etc... It is real but it is not real chrome plating, it is a firm of chrome painting with a special paint that you & special steps you need to do, you need to sand it of course for a smooth look just like any other paint job then you paint it gloss black first then you spray a lot & it's slowly starts to change to chrome then you rinse with air & water then repete etc.. then blow dry so it don't leave any water marks & you have to do the whole process fast, there are different company's that make this stuff & have different methods to apply it there is some you just paint it on like spray paint & you can just brush it on, just 🔍 "paint on chrome" to you tube & you'll see all the different types with explanations & instru tion processes. & The company's that sell it. - your welcome!
My guess is this is a trick, the black is actually straight over a chrome dip rim and he is just revealing it slowly, hence the no color spray paint job
