The Gertrude Emma has very interesting history. The car was saved from a scrap yard by the original owner and they took tooth brushes to restore the inside of the car.
Yes! Very interesting history and the restoration was a labor of love. The conductor/narrator on the Gertrude Emma has pamphlets on board for distribution that tell the story of the Gertrude Emma. Highly recommended. Thanks for watching!
@@briansaxby5357 I see they renamed the Notch Train the Mountaineer. That's definitely on the agenda for next year! We'd like to do that during the fall, but my guess is they book up for that pretty quick.
