@@23gtrh2_02 History of dictatdures. They want evrything to be "perfect". And yeah, I know most of the history was told by the winners, but with this new era of history re-analization, it has been found a lot of evidence of how dictadures are actually managed (in most cases) by second hands that have influence over the head of the system. I do not know that much, but consider the way I used the word "perfect" with irony considering how the use of this word is highly relative for each person in the world, but with a common consideration: general perfectionism doesn't exist. The definition of perfect can be contradictory for some perspectives and when I say "depends on a perfect synch" doesn't mean that the life in N. Korea is going to be "perfect". Is a huge topic and I don't like talking to much about it, but if you still wanna read a more developed argument then comment again in 22 hours. I have stuff to do. Have a good day mate.
@@23gtrh2_02watch closely a girl sitting next to them moves away. They are cheering and watch their hands It's like they have trained to do this. Like in dance practice
Micael Lopes everything I see well trained cheerleaders and their performance is awesome. If you never seen this beautiful thing before that doesn’t mean it is a creepy
Not that I'm defending how screwed up it is over there but how is this creepy? People do synchronized cheers all the time. I was on the dance team and we danced in step.
@@widescreen1272 He was actually South Korean, you can tell from his jacket. If you look pictures of South Korean team in 2018 Olympics it's the same jacket. Idk why he just stayed there and tried to do this cheer thing witht those creepy robots though.
That gives me a -prediction- *idea* *Nuka Loompa, Doopity-do* *Kim Jon Un winner, that's who* *Nuka Loompa, Doopity-Dii* _You can guess what the last three words are_
@@AThimbleofHalloweennot annoyed, in East Asian culture it’s called embarrassment😅 When South Korean cheerlead and a Chinese or Japanese accidentally was there he will also go away immediately, and not to say this North Korean way of cheerleading is kind of… weird, for Chinese that only happens in the 60s and if a couple of my generation do that they will be seen as nerds😅😅
@@lxathu lmao alright, but for real , you would think it is a nice thing until someone mentions that they are north korean , then all the false info you’ve been fed starts to emerge
@@ahmadhomsi4667North Koreans aren’t allowed to leave North Korea and don’t have access to the internet. Anybody who “mentions” they’re North Korean on RU-vid either has a wild escape story or they’re lying to you 😂
"la la la lalalala, there's no food and we can't complain! la la la lalala, there's no hope and all we gonna die" They are singing the communism lullaby!
"win - win - our athletes, win - win - win - our athletes, win" throw in a bunch of lalalas in there and that's the gist. The Korean peninsula has, historically, placed a massive emphasis on the 'family unit,' (proof of which can be seen in the very language, of saying "our athletes") which might not manifest itself beyond a societal facade. Bittersweet, really..
Technically North Korea isn't communist or socialist anymore, they've scratched the terms out of the Party's guidelines. It's all about Juche ideology now. No doubt from Communist origins, of course.
First off I'm not a "bud" I'm a girl, secondly if I were outraged by every thing that a country did that I didn't agree with I'd be a miserable bitch. The routine was cute like I said, but that doesn't at all negate the pressures that north korea has put on them.
People laugh... but just think, this country has done what its done with every possible sanction put on it, its people are starving and impoverished, just imagine what they are capable of if they were prosperous...
Agreed! Western sanctions really cripple their potential, and then when they aren't allowed to trade with anyone the media blames socialism. If they were allowed to trade with the world without fear of sanctions or attack, the DPRK would be an incredibly prosperous country. Despite sanctions there is no unemployment, homelessness, or starvation(malnutrition cuz again sanctions but not famines) in North Korea and their healthcare system is one of the worlds best. They're so authoritarian now because they're backed into a corner. Our country would be just as much or more of a police state if history's biggest empire slaughtered a significant percentage of the population in a war, split the country in half, continually holds military drills simulating the invasion of the capital (after knowing what happened in the last war), sends in internal saboteurs and cuts us off of trade from the rest of the world. Our first world countries don't provide all this for their citizens even though they are in control, and when we compare the DPRK to other third world countries who don't suffer from NATO aggression the difference is night and day.
Canadian Prepper. Unfortunately i can't help but believe that with more prosperity, uprisings would be sure to follow. People question things when they have more tools to use. Unless this country is willing to loosen their grip, this is as far as they will get in life.
North Korea was objectively the more successful state until the fall of the Soviet Union. South Africa has suffered much the same way when they enforced apartheid. The United States has a nasty habit of telling other people how to live in their own countries. The nation building we've done in the middle east for the last 10 years shows that exporting our ideology on foreign peoples is a mistake.
The comments are filled with americans, but besides that, cool vid. Better than american cheerleeding during rugby. Also the coach behind looks like he's about to go asleep at any given moment.
Usually during olypics citizens from other countries goes to the olympic host to watch but perhaps you will not see an ordinary north korean audience coming to watch
Lalalalalalalalalalala (chorus line translation) cheer louder or kim will kill us lalalalalalalalalalalal!!!! And the lady wearing the black mask....Shit I'm out of here!!!
Judging by his jacket he is actually SOUTH Korean and accidentally got in there, lmao. Just check out South Korean team jackets from 2018 olympics, it's the same jacket.
The chant that they're singing is from a movie called "The story of our home". This song was especially created to be short and catchy to make it easer for the North Koreans to remember it. It was the philosophy of Kim Jong-il, to always make songs that will stay in your head for the sole cause of indoctrination.
Well, this certainly creeped me out. Imagine being there? It would be like having to sit next to a screaming baby in a movie theatre trying to watch a Star Wars film.
USSR had more freedoms by the 1980s Because gorbachev, North just stayed the same, Ussr gave them a nuclear research station so the could set up there own nuclear program. Then USSR collapsed ... North korea pretty much fucked after that, because they have no ussr to keep them supplied
But North Korea isn't communist, nor have they alluded to being communist for a few decades now. North Korea is a theocratic hereditary dictatorship. Any allusions to being communist is just smoke and mirrors, because first and foremost the "supreme leader", his father, and grand father are considered gods (theocracy.) Whatever they say goes, and they use whatever they can, be it propaganda, torture, or hostages to hold control of power (dictatorship.) Power can only be passed to the descendants of Kim Il Sung (hereditary.)
They act like cloned robots because they were trained for this their whole life. They're the lucky ones while normal North Koreans are starving to death.
adriana these women and their families are in danger of being executed if they do things like--talk to strangers, don't cheer, do anything the north loran regime doesn't like. there is nothing cute about this, it's creepy. they marched out of the stadium in two single file columns with their heads down not talking to anyone, including each other and not looking around. it is nothing more than propaganda to fool gullible people like yourself that north korea is a great place and their people aren't repressed or starving.
okay so you think its cute that these women will be killed if they dont cheer or mess up? you think its cute they are enslaved and treated as sex slaves as well by the Korean military elite?
It's interesting, they probably see their women as trophies, and lesser... To be honest, all that synchronization and memorization is giving those women evolutionary advantages, and giving them far better memories and technical knowledge (via their dance movements). I would say men in the old times never realized what advantage women had by this.
The role of the cheerleaders is: 1/ to encourage their team 2/ to fill free time when nothing is happening on the field. If they succeeded, then everything is fine.
I know it may look strange what these cheerleaders are doing but you got to understand that different cultures have different ways of expressing themselves. All these comments on here derogating these people are ignorant.
He's surely fine bc he is not from North KR. He is from South KR and unfortunately happened to get his seat right next to the North Korea cheer squad and get on the camera together....(same for the girl in black jacket at the beginning). the woman in black jacket was wise enough to foresee the future but he was not.
