I don't like the arrogance towards NM. They're coming off a win and will be feeling confident, we are vulnerable and North have given us trouble the last 2 years.
It’s just a bit of tongue in cheek. Any AFL side can beat another AFL side on their day! Last year was easy going but the year before they gave us serious grief at the G.
I have a hunch Jordy will play permanent forward for the rest of the year. Watch him bang the goals in like 2018 and pinch hit in centre when Nick rests.
On ability, we win! Expecting to win without doing the hard work is where it can all fall apart as it has in the past. Fly will be all over it and have the boys ready to roll on sunday with or without Nick
Brownlow votes are like smarties they give them away i set no store in the brownlow anymore it's now a popularity poll from game one of the season the media pick them umpires follow thier opinion
I believe the playing at Marvel stadium is a money thing, the pies will draw a crowd, but not enough to fill the place, yes there will be roos supporters, but i doubt the AFL is expecting a sell out, why play the game at somewhere like the MCG if you are not going to get top dolllar?
@@PiesFooty Both teams being Victorian clubs, i personally could not see a 40 or 50 thousand support group at an interstate ground, i live in the west and i can tell you that people here are very west coast minded, and are warming up to Fremantle because the eagles are not doing very well, even though not everyone here is an eagles or dockers fan, i have been a pie since the 70,s and will always be one, but realistically its about the money.
I've been to many Grand Finals but I can say that the greatest crowd noise I ever heard was at Marvel/Colonial/Optus/Whatever in the R8 match versus the Bears in 2002. We don't play the ground well relatively but it has its merits. That said, I agree that an additional interstate game at the expense of Docklands would be good for us.
@@PiesFooty Fly kicked a couple for them, from memory. Taz and Pebbles rocked. JB took out Voss, guess his real target got out of the way. It was a great game of footy with a sold-out crowd and highlighted the benefits of that stadium.
