My first time watching a 4x4 on COH3, just been tournament matches before. This looks really fun, like I could actually have fun playing like this mode

Hey Austin, that’s honestly great to hear! I enjoy all modes but 4v4 is particularly fun and especially with a full team on comms. The teamwork and communication on a larger scale battlefield is both challenging and engaging. I’ve been playing 4v4 with friends and family since CoH2 and it’s probably my best memories in gaming as a whole.

Great gameplay, Sarge! Loving the new map. It seems fairly big, so while I was watching I thought that maybe a medical truck would have done so good for you. Keeping the frontline healed and reinforced + recrewing abandoned team weapons seems vital for these big maps. Keep up the good work! o7

Hey Loop, thank you and same here, really enjoying the new map. Its probably one of my favorite so far. And I totally agree, I needed a med truck so bad this game that it's actually crazy haha.

While I haven't been able to play (computer is still being repaired 😭 and not ready till next thursday), I like what i'm seeing on this map. The north, at least seems ripe for ambush plays and flanking. The DAK player on your side was ambushing you with that Flaktruck by hiding next to a house. Looking foward to play again. From what I have seen, it seems you need AT earlier even more than before when playing against DAK. I have seen some casts where allies are getting stumped by L6 rushes and even the 250 being a good damage sponge for infantry. Any form of AT will do, as long as you can keep the vehicules at bay. Another thing to get used to focus on killing anti-air in some instances. In all gamemodes really. You could have assisted your team by rushing the Flaktracks so your teammate who was using air-based abilities wouldn't get shutdown. That sort of coordination, where you takedown AA pieces then tell your teammates the go ahead for airstrikes, would be really cool.

Oh no, a whole week, that’s brutal! But yes, really enjoying the map so far and I think it plays very well from both a strategic and tactical standpoint. I think that’s a really good observation regarding AT. It’s something I’m noticing as well and especially regarding grenade tech. I feel I am prioritizing grenade tech for AT nades much quicker now, which is very interesting. And absolutely, that level of teamwork and coordination is going to be very important in large team games so that your team can have proper Air Support. 2-4 AA is able to shut down many air call-ins, so constant communication of where the AA is and how to negate it is critical. It’s definitely something I should be working on in this new meta.

Thanks pourya! Yeah exactly, I really needed a med truck this game. I had very little team weapons but I agree that mortars are strong in the northern city area. It’s a very cool map overall, looking forward to playing it more.

The verling is a lot worse to deal with than the dak rad8 because of the surpression. As USF i wish the M16 has the same quad so it can be used early/mid game and then be used vs air airloiter late game.

Yeah, I think you’re right, especially considering the timings. The verling suppression is extremely strong. Good point, I think it would be nice to see the M16 get a little buff in that regard. Perhaps, it could make the WSC a more common opener.

is there any reason you didn't go for a boys AT while the clown car was bullying you? Generally just one of those is fine to scare them off

Hey Bongo, I actually agree with you, it’s good practice to have one boys AT relatively early when you’re facing DAK. This video was posted the same day that we had a major update, which buffed the “Bren” gun upgrade for the British infantry sections. So I was trying a different style where I was going for a Recce package and 2x Bren Guns. My solution was a fast Humber to fight the half tracks but it’s not ideal haha. A boys AT would have been more effective

hey i played against "society is a lie" player, he is very salty about the update becose me and my bud kicked his ass becose he though rifle spam with greyhound as AT and build wizbangs and convert them to shermans would be a great idea, to say it backfired tremendesly is a understatement, Pgrens putted a fight, 2 l6s massacred his lone greyhounds and rifles, and if he builded 1 sherman instead of wizbang i could have been toasted but no...

@@SargeGG i think the l6s are realy good right now! the 280HP makes so it needs 3 shots from 120 dammage units, such as chaffes, the armor is good enough so it dosen't need to worrie to much about small arms such as HMGs from vehicles causing extra dammage, the extra Pen realy makes a difference, being able to fight greyhounds, chaffes and stuards. it does however falls of pretty quick in the late game, compared to stuards and chaffes, its gun is just not good at all for doing any significant dammage at medium tanks, imo i think it justifies the massive buffs, since it won't do much in the late game, it instead serves as a potent early to mid game vehicle, where if left uncheck it can whipe out most of your units, it can be easily contered by portable AT units such as zooks and BOYS but people forget, what realy makes this dangerous is the fact that it can be rushed very quickly if the right conditions are aplied, get 2 CP and its yours, needs just a few amounts of fuel and manpower compared to most light tanks/vehicles. overhaul i think they are pretty solid! serving they purpose as a nightmare unit in the early to mid game, but then being forced to be used as a recon or kamikaze unit in the late game, being upgraded with spotting scopes or used to destroy pesky bishops at the backlines.

What do you think about Relic adding an ability or Vet ability to the unit that would give it more utility in the late game?

@@SargeGG in my humble and honest opinion, i dunno what they could give, and tbf its better that they have a "panic buttom" ability for survivability rather than some get Z or get X buff to units, my reason being is that they allready perform realy well for its cost, with the biggest downside if not the only being its fall of in late game, if you take a unit such as the kratschuzen or katenkrag, its very fair and a good idea to have a late game incentive for such units, as they perform good if not okey at early game, but fall off pretty quick at mid and late game in terms of combat capabilities, so technicaly you only get use from them in the first 3mins or so of the match, with they late game utility making up a lot for they lack of firepower (utility such as recon, caping ability, with shared vet and so on), you could make an argument that both greyhound and stuard have late game units buffs such as accuracy modifiers, but you gotta remember that you allready have a upgrade for late game (AKA spotting scopes) which gets even better with better optics upgrade from base. basicaly i think giving it a ability that scales a lot late game while allready having some tools such as spotting scopes makes it viable at early, mid and late game, making it broken since it never falls of at any point, its recon is nice sure, but you get better results with the krats, with the upgrade being there for incase you still have it and don't wanna get a krats while also maintaining some combat utility.

@@Robyn_Bank Just read through your response and you make a good case. You’re probably right. Late-game specific abilities would likely make it broken. Like you said, It serves a very specific purpose within a specific time frame and its abilities should most likely correspond with that. Relic stated that they not only want to add abilities to units but make abilities more impactful and dynamic, so it will be really interesting to see what units they change over time.

Good Lord! One of my main critcism of the british rifle section is they swear too frequently. Like I know youre in a battle but youre a trained professional, not a conscript. Control your tongue
