Day two and we switch venues to Beadnell around 5 miles north of Howick where we fished the previous day. Conditions are perfect but unfortunately nobody told the fish!
David manages to salvage the session with two small codling but the bigger fish don't show themselves.
Aside from the poor fishing hopefully you enjoy seeing one of Northumberland's most picturesque places in all of it's glory!
Thanks for watching and please hit the notification and subscription buttons for more sea fishing adventures!
Tight lines and keep fishing!

Good video loved your bit about litter, trouble is we all get tared with the same brush.

Cheers Dave thanks for watching and commenting🙏 yes unfortunately there are some anglers who need a bit of direction and education. All we can do is lead by example I guess. Tight lines 👍

Tried that location. In summer for Pollack, unfortunately plagued by divers. Who could NOT give a rat's about anglers as long as they are enjoying their sport. I get my bait from Andy and dawn. Small well stocked shop. They with probably know me as "toothless Davy" lol. Great video vlogs mate.

Thanks for watching and commenting David. Yeah fortunately there weren’t any around that day. Agreed, well stocked as you say and good service 👍

@@fullcircleangling as said in the comment. It's Davy. Preferably lol. But good content in your vlogs. Love watching the lads, especially locals. Eg slippy limpets and all seasons fishing etc.

Spot on with the waste cling film tip, so easy to take home but lots dont . I put mine in the inside of my bait flask cup. As usual a well presented video being the result of lots of graft by yourself. Well done.

Thanks very much Sam. Yes shame people don’t always think about litter but hopefully the more action that’s taken the better the situation will become. 👍👍

Hi David, great vids mate. Just wondering, can you use the spider hitch knot with fixed spool?
@fullcircleangling
@fullcircleangling 2 года назад
Thanks very much 🙏👍 Are you using it with braid or mono? If with braid I’d a suggest a 12 turn Uni knot on braid and leader. If it’s with mono it’ll be fine, as long as you use a tapered leader if possible. Larger knots on fixed spools can cause problems as your line catches on them when you release for a cast. Hopefully that helps and makes sense. Cheers👍

@@fullcircleangling Hi David, thanks for coming back to me. I use braid with FS and sometimes mono when they're lumpy sees but I'm struggling to find a mono to mono knot that is reliable using Fs. I use the spider hitch when using multis and its great but don't like the thought of that long knot coming off the spool in a coil (Fs) .
@fullcircleangling
@fullcircleangling 2 года назад
@@debar1944 hi there, take your point. In that case I’d just go for the same knot as the braid with fewer turns: the double uni knot with maybe 6-8 turns on mainline and leader. The key with smooth fixed spool casting is a small wader knot, so with mono it lays to use a tapered leader👍
