Mr. I, no adjective seems to be enough to praise the contribution that your videos make to our mental health. A weakly shot of peace that caresses our soul and puts us on axis. It is impossible not to love that beautiful city in which you live, so neat, picturesque, clean and respectful of those spaces of nature that, as you say, are healing. Those singing waters that running with their own language sound in our ears with the grace of a prayer. Your ability to grasp and capture what matters is a gift and is what makes you essential. Have a blessed weekend you, Mr.J and Mochi and please never stop making visible what is only possible to rescue through feelings.❤
I'm so moved by your beautiful comment, thank you! I appreciate that you take the time to formulate such a loving text. The water in the river is indeed singing. I'm happy my appreciation for my surroundings seem to come across in the videos, so that you can enjoy the city too. Love from the three of us to you ❤️
I agree, nature is medicine. Well written! And thank you for your thoughtful and kind comment, it is amazing to be able to have wonderful viewers like you. ❤️
That piano piece of music was perfect for a rainy day. Loved the sound of the fast flowing river that was soothing as well..seeing Mochi enjoying her walk-in the forest is always a joy. Thank you again for sharing these beautiful interludes. I hope that the three of you have a wonderful week. Best wishes, Judy 🇦🇺🐨🦘🦮🇳🇴
Happy to hear you enjoyed the piano piece, it is a favorite of mine. I hope you have a wonderful weekend in Australia with your dogs and Art. Love from Oslo ❤️
ps : I forgot to mention how welcoming your balcony looks, it would be lovely to sit out there with Mochi and yourselves enjoying a cup of ☕️with one of your delicious looking Norwegian pastries 🥮 perfect on a late summer 🌺 afternoon. j 🐨
Lovely video. For me, the best part of your videos is when i get to observe Mochi. I know the river shots are cool but they just do not warm my heart like Mochi does. I was happy knowing that he had a wonderful walk along the river.
What a beautiful video! I love when you show us around your amazing city. Nature, the architecture, people, so fascinating! I feel peaceful and happy watching the goings on. Thank you for these lovely “day trips” on video. You are indeed fortunate to live in such a wonderful place. Please give Mochi a big hug for me! 🩷
Your warm comments always make me smile. Thank you. I'm so happy to share my walks and snippets of my daily life, and I'm glad it gives you a peaceful feeling watching. ❤️
Thank you for your calm and peaceful tours through Oslo. I so enjoy your filming style and how it enables me to armchair travel to places I likely will never visit in real life. Indeed, the simple pleasures of daily life are what sustain us if we take the time to notice. BTW, Just a tip: you might really like the YT channel Ida's corner. She is a art/film student in Denmark and makes really lovely artful vlogs (there is some talking, but not always) about small observations in her life plus thrifting, knitting, her gerbils and her art. I think you might really like it. I love watching Mochi happily trotting on your walks. My dog scout gets a similar happy trotting style while on our adventures thru the neighborhood. It brings me alot of joy seeing a dog (or any pet) happy.
Thank you for your nice and friendly comment. Happy to hear you enjoy my videos! Also: Thanks for the tip, I'd never heard of Ida's corner. I checked out her channel. What a sweet girl and her channel has a great vibe. I subscribed! Love to you and your dog Scout from Oslo ❤️
Since I live in a metropolitan city (Istanbul) full of buildings I miss the nature and the opportunity to go for walks really much. That’s why I’m enjoying your videos and I appreciate your work. Thanks for sharing those wonderful moments. Love from Türkiye 🇹🇷
Thank you for your relaxing and so inspiring vlogs 🤍I watched it in one breath, as many of your thoughts and views resonate with me. I also love nature and enjoy watching vlogs of people who move to the countryside, but my heart will always belong to the city. I can’t imagine my life without the city’s noise, its cozy shaded streets and favorite cafes, without parks and bookstores, without the smell of food from the open windows of high-rise buildings and the evening lights. The city has its own special magic. It’s great that you’ve found your city, one that continues to captivate you. I also want to commend the beautifully conveyed atmosphere of the city in your vlog. The diverse shots and sounds of the city created an incredibly immersive and aesthetic experience. I wish you a great week🤗🤍
You put it so well: The city has its own special magic. Agree 100% It sounds like we have a lot of thoughts in common. It's so cool that the internet can connect like minded people like this! And thanks for your supportive comment as always. May I ask which city you live in in Poland? (I totally respect it if you'd rather not say) Love from Oslo 😄
@@introvert-and-dog It’s no secret that I live in Łódź. This city was once home to many factories, but now the old brick buildings have been transformed into unique and cozy cafes, small galleries, residential areas, and recreational spaces. I immediately fell in love with Łódź’s architecture and its contrasts💓
What a wonderful day in Oslo. Beginning with your balcony/patio that is is so colorful and serene. Speaking of serene... major calming, relaxing ASMR vibes this week, especially with all the running water (including the window washer and gentle rain). Thank you!
Oslo looks really clean and well maintained. I can not think of a large city in the USA that I would want to live in. You are very lucky. Hugs for Mochi.
Right? Oslo looks lovely. The large city by me is Seattle- I avoid it as much as possible. Not as lovely as Oslo for sure and it and Seattle smells like urine. 😕
Another lovely vlog! I like how you can be in your beautiful bustling city one minute and in the next, gorgeous forests and nature paths complete with clear running streams and waterfalls. When I’d visit New York City, I’d get excited to ride the subway, but the Oslo subway looks so clean and pristine; residents seem to really respect their surroundings. I stay up late, if I can, on Fridays as the videos appear at 11 p.m. where I live. Your vlogs are the perfect cozy and relaxing bedtime stories at the end of a workweek, and I appreciate the time and dedication you put into these vlogs. Hugs to Mochi and Dads! 🐶🙋🏻♀️💚
Your warm comments always make me smile. And I'm happy someone else thinks the subway can be exciting too 😂 It's wonderful that my videos can be a relaxing bedtime story for you at the end of a workweek! Lots of love from the three of us in Oslo to you ❤️
Thank you so much! Walks in nature are the best. I always feel recharged. I hope you can visit your family in Germany again soon! Love from Oslo to Brazil ❤️
Your comment written with warmth is like a gentle hug. That you are watching from Spain, and enjoying my video is so special. I am so happy to create something that lifts your mood. In times like these we need that more than ever. Comments like yours make me smile, and motivates me to continue to make videos. Thank you, dear friend in Spain ❤️
I've been away for almost a month, time flies when we having a good time... And today I have the delight of many Mochi's video, ty!. Oslo is really beautiful, so good to see the rain in these hot days. How I understand you for loving the city! I don't like noise or traffic but I find a strange and magic appeal in buildings, the ferry crossing the river, people rushing to get in the bus on a Monday morning... Love from Portugal, Alberto, Guga and Pepa are sleeping defeated by the 38° degrees, not a single breeze
Your footage is getting more and more cinematic! This vlog has amazing takes, congratulations! Thank's to you I'm becoming a Oslo fan! Who kows, one day I'll visit this beautiful town! Have a great week!
Another wonderful video to sweeten my start to the weekend. It's so great to get so many little impressions of Oslo and the surrounding area. The forest is great! Oh and your solution for storing the empty bottles is pretty clever😉
I think the trick is to find little things to enjoy no matter where you are…love to see Oslo through your videos…such a beautiful city❤❤ greetings to you and to Princess Mochi from Hamburg🙏🏻🥰
How lovely to have that walk with mochi not far from we’re you live little nature trail Oslo is so beautiful no wonders you love living there seen you on your bike any luck with mochi training to sit in basket yet ❤️🐶
The combination of city life and nature is very good here in Oslo, so I'll be staying here for many years to come I think! Oh and Mochi doesn't like the basket, so no point in forcing her. I think we need a bigger one. But that's a project for next year 😄
Hi Mr I! I love everything about your videos... Your balcony, the city sights, mochi, needless to say 😊 and the forest, so respected!!🙏🏽 A partner from the club i go to is visiting Oslo next month. I've been telling her about the sculpture park, mochi traveling by bus...😂 As if id been there. Ja! Hugs from another people watcher in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Thanks for your kind comment! ❤️ And I hope your colleague has a nice time in Oslo. Tell her she can get around easily by public transportation, and not be afraid to ask for directions/help even if people seem cold. Most people here are very friendly, it's just the culture to mind our own business and not bother others by talking to strangers 😂
Thanks for another lovely video, showing us the visible interesting parts. The TV series Valkyrien made me think about the hidden parts of a city that ordinary citizens never see. The tunnels, passageways and underground buildings that are like a secret mirror city. Now I look around and think, I wonder what is underneath my feet? What is behind that wall at a railway station?
I do this too sometimes- I wonder what's hidden in the city. Secret rooms ect. Just curious: Are you based in another country than Norway? I didn't know Valkyrien was shown abroad. That's cool though if you have watched it in another country 😄
@@introvert-and-dog We are based in the UK and they show a few Norwegian TV series, mainly the crime genre. We are able to view some NRK programmes from abroad and these tend to be documentary series such as 110 about the fire service in Bergan and 113 about the ambulance service in Tromsø.
I'm sorry I'm 12 hours late to the party! My best friend was visiting town after 8 months, so I had to catch up with him. Thank you, Mochipop, for another calm and beautiful vlog! And hey! You got the cycle out! Good for you! 😃
No worries! I hope you had a wonderful time with your best friend and could catch up. Nothing like good friends! (I felt that way when I hiked with my friend in Bergen) Love from Oslo ❤️
Your creative visuals and choice of music accompaniment is always calming and soothing. As a quiet simple living person myself, I adore the glimpses you share of your life in Oslo. 💚
I remember seeing in a winter video you and Mochi walking along that river/stream with snow all over the bridge. It was beautiful then and definitely beautiful in this video as well. We have traveled from the 🇺🇸 to various cities in Europe and Great Britain and always use public transport. I’m fascinated studying the underground transit maps trying to understand how to navigate the city. But we really enjoy the above ground busses or trams. We usually pick one or two lines that take us from one end to the other. It’s a great way to see a city and, for us, far more enjoyable than an organized tour bus and we also see more of the residents which we also enjoy. When we travel, we want to try as much as possible to live like locals.
What a wonderful way of traveling, I like to take the bus / public transportation when I’m visiting a new place too! It’s nice to experience how locals get around. And you’re correct, I did walk along that very stream in winter. It’s nice in every season. Your memory is good!
Dear Nino, today your video was a caress, like the tale of a friend over coffee... He tells of his walks, his favourite places and his passion for nature... fantastic! The window washer, he almost seemed to enjoy being rocked by the water jet... I started the day with a sweet smile... Your Amélie ❤
Hello my dear Berlin friend! I think the window washer was really enjoying himself. Great job for the right person! Happy to bring a smile to your face. Hope you, Bob and your husband have a great weekend in Berlin. Love from Nino❤️😄
Wonderful video as always ☺️ i love people watching too, sometimes it’s better than watching tv 😅 Have a beautiful weekend. Hugs to you two and Princess Mochi ❤️
Beautiful video from beginning to end Mochi is so cute and well behaved always, the City is so pretty the nature so pleasant to the eyes and healing to the heart and your choice of music goes so perfectly with the visuals .. so calming and Inspiring 🙂😌🙏🏻Thanks so much 🌻
Your videos are always a pleasure to watch. Interesting, relaxing, and good for one’s mental health. I also completely agree with what you wrote on metro systems, and going to random stops (good I’m not the only one 😅). Tusen takk og ha en god sommer!
Always a joy to watch your videos, it's wonderful to "visit" your city and its daily life through your lens! Thank you❤ ohh and this may sound strange but I really loved to see the rain, I miss rain so much 😌
I know this sounds crazy but Mochi always looks to me like a brown that has been dog spray painted white, but you ran out of paint. I am totally in love with her x my dog pawed at the screen as we watched this together as she loves the water and Mochi. Great reel, thank you x
The river was so healing even from the screen. Nature has her own ways of breathing a new life in us everytime we get close to her. Always a pleasure to watch Princess Mochi enjoying her time with you all. 🐾♥️ And the piano piece just added to the beauty of rain. 🫶🏻 Lots of love and hugs to you all and cuddles to dearest Mochi! ✨ Warmest wishes. 🥰
I love the scenes of Oslo, especially the docks by the water where people gather. It is nice to feel happy with where you live. At the moment I am visiting a friend by the sea and enjoying the change from my usual city life. At my stage in life I enjoy the convenience of the city though on a day to day basis.
It makes me glad that a friendly stranger in France is watching every week! ❤️ To be honest, there is crime in Oslo, and if you believe the newspapers, and some negative people, it's very dangerous to live here. But in reality it is quite safe compared to many other big cities. Usually the crime here affects people who are involved in the crime scene. If you are a "normal" person, it usually doesn't affect you.
Hello 🩵 I enjoyed so much trying to figure out all the places. I’m so happy that August still feels like summer even if we can feel the change. Mochi is adorable as always. Have a great weekend
I always love to try to figure out all the places if someone filmed in Oslo too 😂 Let's hope the summer lasts a little longer...it is always so short here in Norway!
It's always lovely to start the weekend with your video every week (: Love the grocery shopping bits since I'm always curious about what people normally buy and spend on grocery in another country - please show us more if you feel comfortable enough (: Time flies and it's already mid-August so I hope you and Mochi enjoy the rest of the summer! Lots of love from Spain, feliz fin de semana :D
Glad you enjoyed the grocery store! I understand your curiosity, I like to see that from other countries too. I will take you grocery shopping again another time. Happy weekend to you too! 😄
New subscriber for a few days, every day I watch a few videos I love what you do! Thanks for the views and panoramas, it's always great. Thank you for this vlog which fills the mind and heart with serenity, it brings a smile. And your Mochi is absolutely adorable, really too cute! 🖤
Welcome to my channel! Happy to hear you enjoy my videos. It is wonderful to hear they give you serenity and a smile to your face. That's special! Love from Oslo. Mochi says hi! ❤️
I love your vlogs. In this vlog you mentioned your feelings about subway. I had the same feeling when I was in Budapest (capital of Hungary). Ramdomly got on and got off different places🤓 Good to see that I am not wierdo😅
I live in the city of Curitiba, Brazil, it is a state capital, considered a big city, but I don't have the subway, and I miss it a lot, this year I visited my sister who lives in Barcelona, Spain, I stayed there for 30 days, I made the most of the subway, going everywhere in the city, it gives a feeling of freedom, this ease of coming and going, I like the subway. 🤩
The subway is a very quick and cheap way to get around a big city right? You were lucky to visit Barcelona for such a long time. It's a nice city! I had to google your city in Brazil as I had not heard of it. Looks very nice! 🤩
