Hi! I recently found your channel and instantly fell in love. The few minutes I spend here bring me calm and a smile on my face. Thank you for these videos! 💖 PS. we DEMAND the puppy talk you do with Mochi!😄💖
I've recently discovered your channel, and I love how lovely and cozy your vlogs are! Mochi is so adorable 🥹 btw I think we all sound silly talking to dogs haha but they seem to love it so is worth it 😌
I love hearing your voice ! One of my favorite parts of your videos is when you come home and greet Mochi and you both are so happy and your voice is full of joy and Mochi so happy zooming around in circles, overwhelmed with joy...it literally makes laugh and giggle as well! with pure love and joy! So please don't feel your voice sounds strange talking to Mochi as I love it and we all talk to our animals in cute voice!! xoxo p.s. recently found you and love your videos and watched them all... love that Mochi sooo much!!!
Thanks for this well crafted comment! It’s so nice to hear you like these small scenes of me coming home and greeting Mochi. The joy is 100% real🤩✨ I also appreciate that you have watched all the videos, and then took the time to tell me. Hope you have a nice, peaceful weekend! ❤️🐶
@@introvert-and-dog Aww thanks so much for replying so kindly too! I can tell you are such a special person and I can relate to you so much. Your introversion, love of people watching, libraries and reading and romanticizing the simple things in life. I also love that you are so pure and don't try and pretend about a fake life. THat's why we all are so drawn to you as you are so real, authentic, down to earth, and living a normal life like most of us do. It's inspiring to see someone do that with such grace, gratitude and joy and film it so artistically. I wish you had more videos to watch haha (just put a Gopro on and let us follow you around haha ;) Warm hugs to you, Mochi and Mr. J from California!! :) xo
@@sbazeghi Good morning from Oslo! ✨ Your nice comment put a smile on my face. You are very kind. I think it’s extra special when my videos reach kindred spirits like you who appreciate the same simple things in life. I feel the warm thoughts you are sending, and it encourages me to keep making videos. Little Mochi is taking a nap right now on my lap, but she sends lots of love from Oslo, which today is sunny, snow free (Yay!) But a little windy 🐶✨
Thank you for taking us along to Helsinki. As a librarian in a *much* smaller library I can only be dazzled by that building! I’m glad you had a good time, and a good time coming home! 🙂
And Princess Mochi steals the show for me, every time ❤🐶❤ Sorry, Dads 😁 - I like you too and think you have done an excellent job raising her! She is a credit to you both!
I recently discovered your channel and have watched all of your videos. So calm, relaxing and at the same time inspiring. You have a very nice home and Oslo seems beautiful 🙂
A delightfully lovely first visit to Helsinki - thank you for taking us along with you! I’m unlikely to ever have the opportunity to see it myself. That library certainly was most impressive, but I do love the magnificent historical architecture! Your new plates are novel and those crepes looked tasty. Fresh Gerberas on the table - so pretty! Home sweet home! I can imagine the exuberant excitement of arriving home to Mochi’s joyful, energetic greeting. I’m sure you both missed each other a lot and that you were made to feel like the most important person in her life at that moment 😁❤️ I’m so pleased I heard you (or Mr J) calling her name out loud - now I know how to pronounce it correctly in my head 😊
Good morning from Oslo! I hope this message finds you well and that the rough storms where you live have passed. As much as I like traveling and seeing new places, it is such a wonderful feeling coming home. Mochi’s energetic greeting is the best! I think it’s one of the best things about sharing my life with a dog 🐶❤️ Have a nice weekend!
Thank you! We have a lovely sunny day and our garden is close to being back to normal (minus a felled tree and other plants that were damaged). Hope you are having a lovely weekend , too! 🫶🏻
Your videos are so calming! I was so surprised that you visited Helsinki, I'm glad you liked it :) You should definitely visit Tampere in your next trip to Finland! It's a very lovely city aswell & the train from Helsinki takes a few hours!
I really loved Helsinki, I would love to go back one day, and maybe explore more of the country! Maybe I can check out Tampere- I will be googling it right away actually! 😅 Thanks for the tip.
Pozdrav iz Sarajeva, Bosnia and Herzegovina 🎉🎉
Look at 03:10 I looked up the translation of rautatieasema, 'railway station', and accidentally realized that if you miss the letter u, i.e., ratatieasema, it means 'I missed it'. Quite suitable for a railway station :)
Absolutely lovely from beginning to end. ❤️ Helsinki was so cool! I love architecture too and found that library and the old buildings fascinating! I had to laugh when you said you're like a kid and have to use something new, right away. 🤣 I relate so well - I recently bought from Etsy, wonderful cookware from Sweden. It took FOREVER to come, haha, but when it did, I washed it and had to use it immediately. The crock ovenware is beautiful, but I also had to have this lovely cup and saucer with flowers on them - all uniform, each one a different color. Ahhh I love it! You chose well, those plates are so cute! And you're so right, theres no place like home. Going away is nice, but coming back to your own space is like a well worn shoe, always a comfort. I have to say one more thing...the pink flowers looked incredible in the gold and white vase! Until next time, much love from the USA. 💋
It's nice to hear there are other adults out there who has to use new stuff RIGHT AWAY! Haha. And I can picture you checking your inboks for status of the Swedish cookware several times a day before it arrived.😅
Hello Strasbourg! Your temperature sounds wonderful! This video was filmed exactly one week ago, and I think (I hope) it was the last burst of winter in south Scandinavia. Today in central Oslo, the sun is shining, and it is 13 Celsius. I was wearing my wintercoat and sweating😅 It depends on where you are going in Norway. The north is still cold, the south is much warmer. Just check the weather forecast. Hope you have a nice trip to Norway!
@@fleur-jq6sdWow, it sounds like a wonderful journey! Ålesund is a very picturesque small town. And Bergen is my home city! It is the most beautiful city in Norway with majestic mountains (sorry Oslo) 😂 The north is spectacular, Lofoten is breathtakingly beautiful. I have only been once. Usually when people in southern Norway go on holiday, we don’t go to northern Norway, we want to go somewhere warm. Haha
I love architecture and libraries are womderfull. Living in Canada, i am so jealous of all the wonderfull buildings you get to see everyday. Thankyou for sharing.
Tell Mochi I’m not a morning person either. Helsinki was so beautiful. Loved the library. The meat filled pastry looked delicious. There are a couple of vloggers here on RU-vid who live there. Last year one of them went to the International Coffee Festival that’s held in February. Coffee festival in Helsinki in the middle of winter sounds so good. I’m a dish collector too. I’ve tried cutting down to just the essentials but the next thing you know I’m buying more. How long is the flight from Oslo to Helsinki?
International Coffee festival in Helsinki sounds wonderful! I know they drink a lot of coffee in Finland ❤️ The flight from Oslo one and a half hours 😃
Ciao!
Happy to hear you enjoy my videos. I am very sorry to hear about your dog Linda. Dogs /pets are so important and a big parts of our lives. Happy to hear you will get a new dog in your life soon. Sending you warm greetings from Oslo❤❤❤
Hi from New Zealand 👋 I’m enjoying all your vlogs! Oslo looks so beautiful! (As does Helsinki). I’ve always wanted to visit Norway in particular. Next time I travel to see family in the UK I am thinking of travelling to more places. I’ve been to Zurich and Amsterdam only… so much more to see! Your vlogs are perfect! I’m an introvert also, who can be extroverted if I need to be lol but prefer my own company, with my cat 🐈 😊 Mochi is adorable also. Look forward to watching more videos with you, Mr J and Mochi ❤
Hello New Zealand! Wow- I love that you are watching from there! Norway/ Scandinavia is a very nice destination- I totally reccommend it. Although from what I’ve seen from your country, you have lots of stunning nature as well 😃 I totally get what you say about prefering your own company with your cat! ❤️❤️❤️
What a beautiful channel . You're so good at editing and making videos with a lovely incredible shot images. Thank for sharing all the beautiful cozy moments.
I found you by chance, and you already have a new subscriber and follower, what good taste in making the videos, and what to say about Mochi, a beauty. I am very glad to have found you, greetings from Barcelona (Spain)🥰🐕
Your life in Oslo reminds me a lot of my life in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I'm so lucky to live on a artificial island surrounded by water and nature. But only a 15 minutes tram ride from the centre of Amsterdam. I call it: the best of both worlds. But due to climate change we don't get snow anymore. It rained all winter. And 2024 was the wettest year in the Netherlands ever! ❤
This is so amazing. Less than ten days ago i congratulated you for reaching 1000 subscribers. Now you have more than 3.500. its great! Congratulations again!
Helsingfors has so many buildings in Jugend /Art deco style. We have some in Oslo too. I like your videos. I am a widower and spending more time alone after my partner died but that is ok with me. Greetings from Røa.
Hello! Yes, we have many such buildings in Oslo as well. I love the Jugend / Art deco style. Classical and beautiful. They are a joy to look at.
I'm from Brazil. I'm a new subscriber and I love your channel. I'm also an introvert person and videos like yours bring me peace. I'd love traveling to Norway and Finland, but my vacations are always between December and January. I don't mind freezing weather, I've been to Copenhage once in December. Would it be insane to travel to those countries in winter? Like I sad, I don't mind about the cold, but I'm afraid of being stuck at the airport or finding a hard time leaving the hotel and getting around the city.
Greetings from Norway to Brazil. Happy to hear you enjoy my videos! About coming to Norway and Finland in December/ January. Most likely you will be fine as long as you don’t mind the cold and short days. Or a lot of snow/ rain. Keep in mind that there is a big difference in southern and northern Norway. In the south the winters are generally less harsh. In southern Norway, I think it is unlikely that it would be so bad that you can’t leave the hotel room. Some years we don’t even get snow in Oslo before mid January. But it is a bit of a lottery. A very warm welcome if you decide to come. And just ask if you have more questions!
