Thank you for the amazing video! We are in the same type of room in a couple of weeks and looking forward to this. We have stayed in the DOS on several other ships, but nothing with the two balconies! The only thing I didn't understand was why you can't be out on the front balcony while you're at sea. We've been on several other ship's in the front and never had an issue. Thanks again. The most informative video i've found ever!
Thanks for this video, guys! We have the same room for a July cruise out of Southampton. Did someone from the ship flat out tell you that you could not use the forward balcony when at sea or was it just a recommendation. In March, we were in one of the Haven owner's suites with a wrap around balcony in March and no one told us we could not use the balcony when not in port. Granted, it's a totally different ship and all but I'm just curious. Also, were you told you had to keep the curtains closed at night due to the proximity of the bridge?
@@mikemcneil7124 Hi there! Yes, not being able to use the forward balcony was on the instructions by that door as well as was addressed by the butler. Yes, the buttler mentioned keeping the curtains drawn at night to not interfere with the Bridge's visibility. Have a terrific cruise! Thanks for watching!
Great video, I've booked this exact same stateroom #10006 on NCL Star in January. I have two questions : Did you have to pay to stock the fridge and bar? When did they enquire as to what you wanted, was it pre-cruise or only once on the ship? And OK this would be question 3 ... Did I hear you right that you can't use the front balcony unless you are at port?
Hey! Thanks for watching. NCL will reach out to inquire what you want in your fridge (as well as other snacks) prior to sailing. I can't remember how early but I think it was 45 days. It's included in your cruise fare. Yes, you heard correctly. You can't use your forward facing balcony while at sea...in port only. Great questions! Thank you for reaching out!
