One thing about art whether its paintings or photography is that there's always someone else with a different perception of art. Your long exposure pboto was nice it felt cold but yet busy. You photos were great!

I am currently in Tokyo..most awesome locations you find, will have a, "No tripods on foot path sign. " it's the same in kyoto and osaka. All skyscrapers etc are the same. You'll still find plenty to photograph, but any Instagram style location you find will have hundreds of people there, and hence the no tripod stance.

The artist name you're looking for is Edward Hopper : Nighthawks at the diner ... If it 's the photographer's name you were looking for that would be William Eggleston : His diner scenes shot with Kodachrome are amazing ...

I figured out the diner. Back in the day people used to smoke in restaurants, the way you edited that photo gives it an older vibe, essentially what it says to me is that since no smoking is allowed there no one is eating there.

This is the epitome of the creative proces! Thanks Evan, just love it. “Keep going, the picture will come”, that’s what it’s all about. That and also really enjoy how you allow yourself to get stoked about your own work. Think that’s difficult for many creators although very important! Gonna share this with fellow creators. Love the commentary/behind the scenes videos. Cheers from Copenhagen, Denmark

my favorites were: parking lot shot and the through the window of the diner looking place. it was super cool how each of the three things in the triangle in the parking lot shot were similar colors, which both tied everything together while also making each instance of color pop even more!!! really enjoy the content you make and post, Evan!

I have a better understanding of art photos the way you explain things, thank you. For example, the empty restaurant with red lines, ketchup, mustard, and the yellow floor cones. It all makes sense. My question to you, if these photos are in a book or gallery do you have to take the time to explain to the viewers or do you let the photos themselves do all the talking? Thank you for sharing your awesome photographic insight.

Evan, I love the B&W long exposure but I think it would really benefit from being in the square format. I think it would compress the image and remove the distraction of the sides which don’t really add anything to the image. Love the channel, bro Regards Tony
