I think parents planning got failed that's y they are upset. Becoz even in their previous interviews or even they didn't claimed media or court to reopen the case to find the murderer. How this can happen? I am closely watching this case since this had happened I have strong intuitions either their parents had killed Arushi or they know something about this murder.

Why are her parents not bringing up the case to catch the real culprits. They shouldn’t just be relieved that they are released, rather fight the case till they are alive to find their only daughters killers:(

Parents losing their child is hell. Parents losing their only child to gruesome murder ,probably sexual assault and then the nation wide infamous publicity salted with the worst .... tainting the reputation of a school going child , messing up of investigation is unimaginable agony .

Im a mother too and i can understand no mother can do this to her own child in right senses!! But what upsets me most is no where in interviews Arushi's parents specially mother showed any guilt or regret of not knowing well or doing better for her daughter's protection!! Im not blaming her but its natural that mom guilt would have killed me that how i forgot to lock my daughter's room properly!!! There are so so many unanswered why's that haunt me till this date as a parent! I still think about arushi and how cruel this world is that a little girl in her own house is not safe in the presence of her parents!!! I often think do her parents feel immense guilt and sadness that their only daughter got brutally killed while they were sleeping peacefully if they are not culprits! Why they used to lock arushi's door instead of hemrajs! After all he was a new servant why they trusted him that much? Okay the excuse could be hemraj had to wake up early and do home chores as couple used to wake up late but why the mom woke up at 6 in morning by just ringing on the door as according to couple it was not possible for them to listen anything in room due to noisy AC? Was she already awake? Why she denied to identify hemrajs body as their first suspect was hemraj how could she say no! Why? Anyonei would have ran to see if its him or someone else so he/she could have little peace to know about murderer specially someone portrayed as strong as Nurpur. Why she agreed to do an interview on her daughter's birthday specially after her death maybe she is strong but it don't seem right thing to do. Channels can do it for TRP but why the mother would do that?? Maybe all of these things are tragic coincidence but i pray for justice to arushi and hemraj! Hope the murder never find peace in his life ameen.

A very unique interview by Dr Nanda. What stands out in this interview is the focus on Nupur Talwar as an individual living in the jail, and not a woman who may or may not have killed her daughter. There is no mention of the night of the murders or the aftermath of the same. No questions are asked regarding the potential murderer. No attempts are made to prove or challenge her innocence. It is just her and her life in jail.

I believe, she is not a murderer, but her husband Dr. Rajesh was. But later she helped her husband in cleaning & wiping all the proofs. If their daughter was murdered, y Dr. Rajesh never called police? Instead he called his brother & relatives & friends to try to settle the matter to get a death certificate. It was the security guard who called police after half an hour. They both kept quiet till her servant rang the doorbell. What was the need to lock terrace door? If the murderer was someone else, y would he waste time in locking terrace door & changing bedsheet & Aarushi's clothes when the parents were sleeping in next room? When the police came & asked for terrace keys, y Dr. Talwar didn't give the keys? Because Dr. Talwar wanted to destroy the body of their servant as soon as possible. This was not the instant murder. This was a planned cold blooded murder. They must have planned it atleast one week before. If they both would have not been the murderers, they would have definitely known who's the murderer as the intension behind the murder was not the Robery. If the murderer was someone else, y would he murder only Aarushi & the servant & leave both Talwars alive? One thing is sure that both Talwars r the best actors

I don't know for some reason, I am not convinced by this parent. They don't look like they have got any mental agonies and pain for their only child.I saw few videos of them ..not convinced by their statement at all

Only illogical assumption in this murder was considering arushi is in relationship with hemraj.This was the only way to save the real culprit by misleading people.

I recently loss my dad and I’m deeply in grief and I pray everyday for justice to him that way we (I) could have a closure and move further in life. No parent is capable to taking their child life. So much we focus on religion. When ever I say I’m from India first reaction I get from non-Indians is lots of cultural, religion and class based society. Which is true yet this culture which forms society which is religion based only put downs, keep low and feeds their ego (thank god we all are goody girls!!!). That’s is good to know while this Indian society would have killed you people in jail gave you protection, comforth and love. You are right our society should learn from people in jail. In America victims who are released from jail get jobs and move further in life. Jail prepares them to be better citizen. Here society don’t kill by keeping one down and low. Society is not part of human life. It’s upto an individual how to make or break his life not upto society for that instead of bitterness and cowardly blows of abuse there’s police and strict laws. One reason I feel so safe and secured in this country. Country could be great it’s people that we have to live among. Although there are lots of work and family abuses. People still are scared of police, laws and jails here. Where else in India people don’t even respect police!!!! No fear of police??? Laws must be not strict???!!!! Otherwise society would be considerate and well behaved does not matter which class. Murder and sin and crime takes place when certain individual has no fear or shame and is getting away misbehaving every time. Hopefully instead of talks on a individual and family and bring them low keep them low there would be action taken. A closure so finally people could move further and have purpose in life. Whenever I hear or listen to news regarding aarushi school project how she wrote about the moments with her parents how her parents tell about her I always think they seem to be a happy, caring and loving family like ours. Nothing dark there thinking about her parents killing their makes it little weird for me. Even if they saw her in compromising situation they are urban and educated parents I don't believe they killed her, they could have disowned her or something and going through harsh pain and punishment would have led them to speak truth. And for once I can even believe they killed her but it's impossible for me to believe that she was in compromising position with his father's age man. She seemed to be subtle and normal 14yr old kid I could have for a moment believed her with her bf but this story seems to be out off point for me. Not everything in her case can be exception and not usual.

I am always curious about Aarushi's case..who killed her? I always think how these parents live without even knowing what happened to her...it's very disturbing...I pray to god to bless these parents..

The real story was covered nicely by channel news asia. Hemraj was killed because he was trying to protect Aarushi. Krishna, the nepali, was intoxicated and in Hemraj room, also hemraj room had room door from out and indoor room door connecting to house.

I liked the interview by Ms Vartika Nanda. Although it was a bit too formal at the beginning, the questions she asked were very sensible. A few years before Mr Rajesh Talwar and Mrs Nupur Talwar were two of the most discussed personalities of television. For some people they were convicts while for others they were victims. It was a good initiative by Tinka Tinka Movement, which in the past few years have achieved many milestones, to conduct an interview with Mrs Nupur Talwar and give her a platform in which she can talk about the experiences and feelings she had during her time in jail. My theory is that they didn’t kill Aarushi, but they do have something to do with Hemraj’s murder. And their behaviour is a strong pointer for this. It’s as if they have this relief of not being COMPLETELY guilty of what happened, but are guilty enough about committing a murder of someone that didn’t mean much to them. It’s as if they do have that relief of knowing that they didn’t kill Aarushi, but they had to resort to kill Hemraj so guilt from this part of the event is there. They definitely also grieved their daughter’s loss but it’s as if the grief is attached to some kind of acceptance on their account, and not a grief of absolute shock that one would feel if they really don’t know or do anything. It’s like their sorrow comes from a place of some knowledge of the events that transpired. And this could be the reason why they seemed so distant and cold. They knew what happened so the part of “shock” and “disbelief” of HOW their daughter died didn’t exist. The part that could have left them extremely disturbed and unsettled, apart from the loss of course. Like they have absolved themselves of committing the crime because they did it in a state of helplessness? This is something that could prevent an extreme amount of guilt hitting them, and the lack of it might have showed in their body language and behaviour.

Something is odd about this family. Poetic and nice interview but the naturality isnt there. Real parents wouldnt be like this after losing their only child

My sympathy is with the talvar family.

I think she saw her husband being sexual with her, and killed her own daughter in rage; or the father saw the daughter with another boy (Arushi's bf maybe?), lost his temper and killed her; or it could be a satanic sacrifice the parents made.

This interview highlights a very important issue - that jail is not the end of life. We need to change our mindset about jails and their inmates and understand that lives inside jails also go on. Dr Nanda summed up the interview beautifully with the same sentiment by saying, “Bahaut saare dard ke beech ek chhoti si umeed yahan bhi hai. Tell me one thing" who believe that perents are murderer" then after case going on court why they are going for interview..? If they done that crime they should have that fear to can fumble that truth anywhere.. they can easily denied fir interview but they don't doing that..
