Dude seriously. Every Single clip I see of this game it looks like wreckfast driving. I’ve never seen this much constant contact in GT7 at any level of Driver rating
Fellow truck driver here and I've played every Motorsport from two to present and I am at the point where I've just uninstalled this game on my Xbox the racing is just God awful there's little to any sportsmanship on top of the fact that there's a little to no lobbies no I just put my extra time when not driving watching Crunchyroll, and MMO or just playing Horizon 5
Nah, it was 100% avoidable by corvette. Its one of these "prediction" situations im always talking about. Corvette just ignored the possibility that he will want to rejoin. While its not "safe rejoin", Corvette walked into it on his own.
It was avoidable if I actually was looking at him. But as you can see, there was so much caos, and my attention at that moment was on the Porsche that was before thinking he could rejoin and mess me up, and I did not see that Ferrari at all until He was already rejoined.
@@saiyanmotorsports I know a lot was happening, and I dont blame you or anything, but I'm helping people with avoiding crashes in games like these and its just that's perfect example how the "prediction" skill works. I rewatched now and you ignored Porsche in the same way you ignored Ferrari, if you havent ignored Porsche, you would also avoid the Ferrari. My goal here is not to slander you in any way, but I swear this is the perfect example for you to learn that skill. I just want to point it out, so you can see what can you do different, because this drags you into those crashes. Its not that obvious in a lot of cases and a lot of people say that they are "racing with idiots and there is nothing they can do about it". What I would do is leave Porsche much more space, like going to the right side of the track, because I wont lose anything by doing so.
im always amazed at how forza motorsport players manage to become tunnel visioned and overdrive on every single braking zone because they are paying too much attention to literally everything else except the fucking people in front of them
0:50 this is an exact recreation of one of the opening scenes in forza horizon 1. When you drive the viper at the very start of the game. 2 guys come flying out of nowhere onto the track and smash into another car and they all keep going. This was actually so cool
Man I've got over 700 hours in GT7 and there's some parts of the track in this vid I've never seen people do that kind of contact like I just saw here lol. I guess it just does a better job of setting the etiquette expectations.
Its the sad reality. My theory is that because of the Xbox game pass, new players that come from Forza Horizon and even Need for Speed, since they have free access to the game and so they are giving Motorsport are shot, thus driving wreck less like they normally do over there. Unfortunately, it ruins everybody else’s experience that does want to race properly. The “ranking system” and “safety ranking” should’ve fixed that, but Im guessing that is not working as intended because of the low player count.
@@saiyanmotorsportsIt's not just that, it's also just how the game is, Forza nowadays is a lot more arcady than Gran Turismo, because Gran Turismo has shifted into a much more competitive and sim type racing game since Sport. Don't get me wrong dirty drivers still exist in Gran Turismo they're just a lot more rare in A-S class sportsmanship rating, because on like C sportsmanship it is just like forza lmao. PS: Forgot to mention that collisions are also more punishing in Gran Turismo than they are in Forza
@@saiyanmotorsports What I meant is that in GT you get punished a lot for being dirty, not only cuz those penalties are harsh, but also because of damage
I'm playing FM4 offline for a while now and the AI (on professional) can be surprisingly skilled and clean in their racing etiquette, but can also make realistic mistakes and overly-aggressive moves from time to time. The pinnacle of Forza... sadly Horizon 1 (removing tuning/sim damage) brought the driving standard to an absolute low for MP. I don't know how anyone can even race online in a game with the stupid latency of opponent cars... Give me offline AI that don't teleport meters around their position anyday...
The way the community is, it should just default the settings to no contact allowed because the game is unplayable 99% of the time otherwise. I gave up on this series online play years ago.
I feel your pain, seems as though Forza attracts the largest amount of shit heads in online racing with zero etiquette, and then there's the penalty system that usually penalizes the clean driver more than the dirty drivers...Forza is a waste of time in 2024 unless you have one of the first 5 games they released, turn 10 really fucked this and the last few iterations of the game up.
Phahahah! This is too much even for Forza. :) But the most important thing is that everyone thinks that it was he who was pushed off the track and it is not his fault.
Doesnt matter if t10 fixes their broken mess of a game.... if they dont do anything about the state of whats allowed in online racing, its a dead game, cuz the players in it ruins it. 10/10 races online gets ruined by ramming trolls
