i liked PW3 more personally, 4 is good, but they got carried away like most dynasty warriors games do and made its too damn grindy.

Yea, I noticed that explaining things to make the game clearer for those who might have never played works well, though the thought of interrupting the flow and taking too much time for explanations does worry me ever so slightly

Though musou games aren't my cup of tea, I'd be down to make more depending on how many people want to see it. If everyone expressed their wishes the way you do, I'd have a lot clearer of an idea on what direction my content should take to make everyone happy, so thanks for letting me know!

The game isn't struggling for framerate (unless you're playing the Switch version lmao), but it is struggling for button space. Every button already has a use so there isn't any room to put something like a shield button (which is pretty common in musous). If you want an example of a musou with incredibly good defensive options, there's Hyrule Warriors. You have a shield button which is alright, but the important part is that you can do different dodges while your shield is up than what you could do normally. You can chain these shield dodges and be completely invincible for as long as you keep dodging since you can start your next dodge before the invincibility on your current one runs out. You can didge through poison and other lingering damage effects and be completely unaffected, and this does work on every character. As a bonus, a handful of characters also have unique attacks that they can perform out of a dodge, so you can immediately strike back once you get your opening.

I do agree that doctor's tactics is an amazing skill, but in this video I was trying to pass the mission without ANY healing skills at all!

Deadly Cadence made me think that maybe stacking into invincibility skills and playing around that was more important than going for full damage + defense

@@Kashimaro Think it depends on the character and your style of playing. I think some skills work better for some characters that really need that boost. If you want full damage though, I recommend getting the skill Heat up, it basically increases your attack power by the number of hits you do. Stacking that with some other attack skills could give you the results you want.

You did read that correctly, I started working on GBVS but it was made very apparent that I won't be able to finish the montage before Tekken 8 and that's just not something I could afford, so I delayed it to the pit of the unknown

Certain enemies can hit you with guns/projectiles, there's just minimal to no indication of when it's gonna happen so it's hard to react to it, bad problem to have in a 3D Beat-em-up honestly PW4 has cool ideas and is a pretty fun romp, but games like Devil May Cry or Metal Gear Rising do a much better job of telegraphing attacks Would be sick to see a more polished One Piece beat-em-up along those lines
