Watching you, an untrained mechanic (lol), just keep making progress, overcoming obstacles and generally keeping a positive attitude helps me tremendously (and if you edit out your bad moments, I don't wanna know lol)

Bolt head on engine side looks good to me. Whilst you're fiddling with the fan blades do yourself a BIG favor now! Order a 7 bladed MGB fan blade. It will be so easy to install now and a real PIA when your 4 blades break off on the motorway with the radiator in the way! Trust me, I know from experience!! The cost is minimal now compared to the sweat it will cost you later. Yes, it will be yellow. Who cares? Are you going for judging points or reliability? Plus it will run a tad cooler with 7 blades.

What’s the process to change to the MGB fan, do you need another water pump to mount it?

@@MGREBUILD Same water pump, for me at least. I just bolted it on! Took about 10 minutes with radiator in the way. For you s/b 5 minutes! Also, I remember there may or may not be "spacers" required. I did not need them.
