Hi. I saw your review and decided to apply to the Kickstarter project. Probably you are one of the only people who saw the robot because the guys from Heisenberg have disappeared now. I know you are not responsible for this, of course. Have you ever heard back from them? thanks
I've really liked the idea of a robot to mow. I mean it's not much different than the robot I let vacuum the house. This is so much better than what is on the market. Really hope this technology continues to grow!
I backed this project on Kickstarter many months ago, but we haven't had any updates in 6 months!! Backers are going nuts in the comments section on Kickstarter, and rightly so! Does anyone know what's happening with this company??
I've been looking at a dozen models from other manufacturers... but this is the only one (costing below $2k) that will meet my needs. I can't wait for the Kickstarter campaign to end so that I can get mine.
4h left and only 8987$ to achive the goal ! I just purchased one by Kickstarter. If the project launches, this will be the first robot able to take care of my "complicated" garden.
Holy mowly, that mower is amazing! So cool that it will mow, blow, edge and fertilize. Can it core a apple? After watching your last video my neighbor power washed my house for me with the stuff you recommended and it really worked!! I love me some Kite Army
Thanks for making the video! I'm very interested in this lawnmower but also slightly skeptical. In your video It looks like there is a Heisenberg employee controlling the robot from his laptop. See for example at 07:40. Can you talk a bit more about the conditions within which you tested this robot? Did you get any sort of advantage from Heisenberg for making this video (e.g. payment)?
Very interested to see if this works well on a 1/5 acre sloped lawn, which I have. I've backed the product on kickstarter but will be cancelling before the payment is taken on 29th april if I don't see some evidence of it working before then.
I have used robotic mowers for some time now, mainly the Robomow RL series. I live in Arkansas where the summer months can get brutally hot (like 100+ deg.) on summer days. One of the things I noticed on my mowers is that mowing out in the summer heat really gets the mower hot and is extremely hard on the batteries and shortens the life of them greatly. Some people may say "well mow in the evening, night, or early morning", but the problem with that is that here in the humid state of Arkansas dew forms in the evening and lasts till the sun dries it off in the morning hours so usually afternoons are the best times to mow if you don't want wet grass. Unfortunately this is when the temperatures are the hottest. It would be nice to see testing done in high temperature to see how the batteries are affected and how long they will last. Just thought I would mention that since I have experienced it first hand. It would be fantastic to have a robotic mower robust enough that high heat doesn't hurt it when it is out mowing.
Li-Ion are always heat sensitive. You can just mow at 11ish? Dried off by then but hasn't peaked temps yet. Also mow in the evening when it's cooled off. Mower doesn't care when.
Looks interesting. I have been looking for a product to keep my deck clean (blowing / possibly cutting pine straw) and there isnt much out there with promise. I wish there mowers would have a vacuum capability to pull up debris / leaves into the blade.. that being said there is tons of head room available to incorporate bigger motors, batteries, maybe even a reel type blade. etc.. so I cant wait to see where this tech goes..
So, lots of questions and since this video is sponsored on their kickstarter, hopefully can get some answers quickly: 1. Is the motor brushless? 2. If I cut a flappy hole in wood gate (wood flap) will it go through so it can mow front and back without me intervening with opening gate fence or having a giant hole in gate? 3. The edge trimmer: how good is it? Like I don’t need to edge fence and get rid of trimmer good or other such as I should still keep a trimmer. 4. With blower and sweeper: issues on side walk or driveway? Issues crossing? What I have: smaller yard but front back has fence dividing. Front yard has a split concrete walk as in the walk way starts 3ft from road edge. Example- road, 3ft of yard, sidewalk, yard. Front/back separated by wood panel fence. I joined the Facebook so will also post there when approved. Thank you and looking forward to learning more. Brother has husky and I love it but…. My sidewalk is an issue with wires so it’s out. GPS mowers thus far lack accuracy so highly interested and motivated.
I reviewed a model that was not the final machine they will be producing - Not all the features were fully working yet. I expect to do a follow up video in a few weeks to run it through the paces. Lets see
@Kitearmy I like the video, thank you for creating it. I'm a backer & was relieved to see someone outside of their circle review it. In your honest opinion, and since you are batting a thousand with Kickstarter.. Would you (if you were in the market) back the campaign or do you feel like we're going to get scammed?! Thanks!
Hey mate. I don't think this is a scam but I would implore you to understand how kickstarter works - it is to support products and companies with the development of products. In turn you often receive a discount on the product under development. Keep in mind that this development process can be a journey. I also know that someone is going to achieve success with this type of product and think Heisneberg has a shot at that
@@Kitearmy I appreciate you taking the time to respond. This will be my first Kickstarter endeavor. I have definitely heard some horror stories. At the same time I've heard good ones like yourself. I just wanted to know the legitimacy of the company itself. From someone like yourself. I do fully understand that they may hit obstacles that they can't overcome, however I feel as though..if they actually exist and are working towards the completion of the presented product they will be successful!
Thanks for your great video. So I’m interested. I want to use the Lawnmower in France at my holliday home, but I’m living 400 kilometers away in the Netherlands. The power is on, so the Lawnmower can charge itself. Can I still control the Lawnmower with my mobile phone and watch its movements? Ore does my phone needs to be standing next to the machine? Does the remote function needs a service payment anywhere in the future?
@@Kitearmy it looks like it. I have a very "complicated" yard in terms of zones, roots, and different areas. I have had wire issues and this seems to remedy that. I'm going to check them out in more depth. I REALLY like the lack of need for a guide or boundary wire.
As i suspected already when I posted a comment on this video 8 months ago (to which you did not react) you have been promoting a scam! Hope you were just being naive and not malicious...
@PersonXes Even if he helped make the robot look better and much closer to commercialization than it actually was, I don't think he knew that the whole thing would turn out to be a complete scam at that point. That being said, an update video would be welcome, not necessarily for apologizing but for warning people against miraculous products. After all, it's not the first revolutionary robot mower project that never delivers.
For their next generation boundary setting, they should give you an object that you place in your hand. You would simply put the mower in low speed and walk around the lawn with that object (a "magic wand" of sorts). The mower would follow you while memorizing that pattern. Much easier than using virtual buttons on your phone.
"what's my name?!" THis looks like a Go Fund Me proposal. String trimmer? AI is more precise than following a buried line? (rethink that!) Identifies discolored spots and spot ferts them??????????? LOL Right!!!!........ You are way to easy some of these products.
Kickstarter projects are almost NEVER a good investment, you will usually loose your money on products that are horrible or never ship. Make sure you are OK with loosing all your money if you do invest
@@Kitearmy true, but unfortunatly ive never had a kickstarter actually produce a desirable product that i want for the price i spend, so they now dead to me.
IT SEEMS TO ME IF THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE MAKING IT OUT TO BE, THEN THERE ARE TOO MANY THINGS ON THIS MACHINE THAT CAN GO WRONG.THERE IS ALSO A SHORTAGE OF CHIPS? WHAT CHIPS ARE THEY USING. MAYBE IT MAKES IT'S OWN . IT JUST SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. HAS IT GOT A RADIO AND BOOM BOX FITTED? MAYBE A TV?
How about making a video without the obnoxious music, as a potential purchaser i would like to hear the noise it makes, its a lawn mower and not a jukebox....
@@nmraidernation.6092 I love ricks like you - you feel free to say something so offensive and then get butt hurt when you get a response. We all know who you are - enjoy your dominos pizza for dinner
Yer but they are just so stupidly expensive, this is way better priced, but the prices are just dumb so i hope this gets a deasent end price in the wild, because as the prices are now its cheaper to hire a kid from the street and that gets the lawn mowed for over 10 years for the price of robot movers today.
Hard pass. Waterproof? Battery strength? Replaceable battery? Replaceable motors, wheels, gears? A robotic vacuum is the same size as this and will vacuum half of my house before it needs recharging. My yard is over 4 times larger than the floor of my house. Why did they make something so small to do such a big yard? It will burn itself out within 2 years. If they had a 5-year full replacement guarantee, then it would be worth looking into.
Useless video, here’s a video of a cut lawn getting cut, and to demonstrate how well it cuts we are going to use a zoomed out video….. very disappointed 👎 I actually want to see this product work, I want to see how it compares in terms of cut with other products available. Please create a redemption video
