That's not something he can do afterwards. He just records a copy of the video that's streamed to twitch, so it's all one channel and you can't do any mixing afterward.
@@AximVidya Yes you can't do it afterwards but any competent content creator knows how to use multiple audio channels for recordings so that you can manipulate the different levels. I do it myself. The recording can be a different format with multiple audio channels.
I love the GGG team. I have a short opportunity during alpha to work on designing icons for the game and this is work I most proud in my life, and I did a lot film/commercials/games/museums stuff so this says a lot :)
So funny that he mentioned it being difficult to think of a concept behind the name Ritual, and a year later it being implemented, as well as Delirium previously being called Affliction, and the real Affliction being introduced almost 4 years later
I love that they are hiring players from the community. More games should do this. Take the leaders and best players from different areas of the game and get them involved in game design and structuring content. It's such an easy idea and I don't know why more companies don't do it more. These are the best people to ask!

19:02 This right here is where so many games fail, they give in too much, the game starts losing consistency and it's all downhill from there. I hope GGG keeps to what Chris said here, listen to the community but don't give in too much.
That's what a lot gamers don't seem to understand. Feedback is fine but games should't be designed by committee usually. Like when Demon Souls came out, it did so many things gamers usually don't want but people still loved it. Most gamers don't actually know what they want.

Well, why not make another ARPG? I'd love to see a futuristic ARPG. Planet hopping, alien species, extreme crafting, sci-fi based classes and skills. There was one out on Steam for a while but it was utter crap, and steam removed it because they caught the developer stacking reviews. @Chris, do you still play with your black lotuses though? My power 9 deck is all in those same protective cases with gradings on every card. I play with it just like that to. Shuffling is a pain as I literally have to use a special box to hold up the stack so they don't fall. haha
The problem with making a (big) new game is that it takes resources away from poe. Another problem is that it's not directly growing the poe brand, if that makes sense. I do think that they could make like a side project with some people working on it almost full time. Just like they are doing with poe mobile.
@@vez3834 First off, POE mobile needs to be scrapped. Terrible idea, and nothing anyone can say will ever convince me otherwise. Second, POE is not going to last forever. Interest will wane as other ARPGs come out. Can you actually tell me you aren't excited about the potential of Diablo 4? Of course you can't. Third, while you are right that working on a new ARPG will take resources from POE, it will also potentially add to the longevity of GGG, and that is what really matters. If their sole product is PoE then when something comes out that is better, and it will happen, then GGG dies with their single product. No truly successful business stays with a single product. On top of that, it opens up possibilities to do new things from the ground up that they didn't, or maybe can't do with POE due to the current game infrastructure or maybe just due to the current games setting.
41:00 League with some mirage tower appearing, one you have to challenge and climb to obtain some boon sounds great. Could be handled like simulacrum waves, but without categorized loot, slap a league tag on this and that floor, more often so as you climb higher. And seeing how you guys like the idea of time pressure and things falling apart, it could dissolve from below like synthesis encounters. Wrap all that in the loot explosion at the end to cope with carpal of picking up everything, or just do it for every floor giving players tiny grace period to sort eq... On the other note, it's great to see devs that still have passion for gaming and a spine. That's a good combo to see.
It should be handled like lab. We need lab leauge. Think about it. Lab has almost zero lags and frame drops compared to other leauges or even just maps. Making delve like dungeon but in lab format (remove traps or make new ones that doesnt matter) would givr them time to fix main game

Synthesis was awesome, i agree i loved it. Rotating between Delving, mapping, and the memory nexus was a super fun endgame loop IMO. you go run delve. then when you need sulphite you go back to maps. then during mapping you get memory fragments and when you're capped out you go do the nexus. then go do maps again then, boom your suphite is full and you can delve again. the loop was great
Building your own path was a great idea, it had some minor flaws at the start tho. Unfortunately i was burned out by playing a lot prior to synthesis :'(
Chris you legend! Loving Path of Exile and have done for a long time now.. Keep up the great work to your whole team, you are making massive moves in the ARPG market and that fantastic for us players. really want you to make other types of games with the passion you put into the Path, like a Sandbox-Survival !
I'm down with that, I just think they need to step WAY back from clearspeed metas and timed content. headhunter should feel sick, but there shouldn't be a double acceleration behind it
at 21:10 Chris talks about public test realms and talks about how it would take the wind out of the sails of the actual release. The solution to that is simple, require an NDA to play the ptr. There are so many bugs and problems with league launches these days and its getting pretty obvious that QA isn't getting the job done. A few weeks of PTR data gathering would help them immensely in improving the quality of a league before its launch.
I actually really like Callinellus Malleus too , not used it in ages but i used it a lot several leagues back its great as a starter weapon, i even tracked down the creator and thanked him, my other personal favourite is Chernobog's Pillar both sleepers and ive thanked both the creators chernobogs still has one of the top 5 or so shield art in the game

this was really great, its pretty clear that there will be a lot of racing soon, which was my absolute favorite part of the PoE beta way back when. i also love that chris strongly implied that delirium was designed to act as sort of "gotta go fast" training wheels. the way the folks at GGG test out future ideas is kinda genius
I would love to see stash tab that can sort items to their own tabs (just pick first eligible). Earlier that might have not justified, but now every league adding 10 new currency/splinter/oil/fragment things it is getting ridiculous to manage. It takes more time to sort stuff from a map run than actually running a map. Doing that kind of micromanagement is not fun or exiting. And yes, dump tabs is great way to DELAY the problem.
you gonna comment on all year-old video comments thinking you're making something resembling a point? The context of the last year of changes have made this whole debate different. They withdrew archnem and game is looking stronger than ever (just in time to not suffer major losses to LE or D4)
I only play self found, Its to big a hurtle to constant message people to trade items. But I often get stuck or borred, because my gear is to crappy, or I miss a specific item to complete my build. Why not implement an AH and some kind of item degration every time an item is traded.?
@@WafelixRox Might be true, but they could restrict it to 10 traded items per day, or something similar. Then ppl like me would be satisfied, and ppl that want more trade, could still use the old trading options.

Permanent skin transfers confirmed! Yes! I've *never* bought a Skin Transfer, because I hate paying RL money for consumables - never done it in any game ever. I'd buy permanent skin transfers the moment they release.
I’m a lazy player ig cause I quite enjoyed blight cause I could stand still with my army of minions. I even went and made dinner and came back on a blighted T15 completed once I got my gg setup XD
1:28:15 "Same mistakes" yeah, metamorph's black on black is so different to delirium's grey on grey! The key being the performance for delirium is significantly worse than metamorph's!
