I think the dyno will pay off eventually. I have felt for a long time that you are an underdog in the RU-vid world. Your videos will start taking off one day and get more views and subscribers. Your knowledge is pretty impressive. Some of the other diesel performance channels I watch, they do some cool stuff, but dont show the repair and build side like you do. I couldn't tell you how many of your tips and tricks I have used to get my truck built. Keep the videos coming, don't get discouraged if you start to. They dyno ideas you have are great, showing what this mod with this mod does to power numbers, I think that will make it all take off!

Definitely good points you made. And condescending down other areas isn’t bad. But time is definitely going to be on your side if this is the area you want to specifically pursue. Take it with a grain of salt but focus on what makes you happy and especially with specific results. And notably enjoy.

Man I wish more people would watch more of your videos you're like the one shop that actually knows what they're talking about on RU-vid

I'm looking forward to seeing the progress of the VE build with Dyno proof. I hope it helps you to grow the business and build services around the Dyno, such as performance packages that can be purchased through you like a certain competitor. I also want to see your RU-vid be successful, but the how too vids I feel are rushed and details get lost. The single wire alternator remake video is a good example. It could've been detailed better and documented better if you'd spent more time polishing it. That video alone I could link a dozen times a week to people asking what we did to our squarebody swaps for alternators...but I don't because it's not as polished as you could've made it. It helped me but I'm also a mechanic and not some guy in the backyard. Wishing you a lot of success!!

The Dyno will absolutely pay off and is an invaluable tuning tool so track days aren’t wasted and BS runs.

For the RU-vid algorithm your best bet is to almost film each series and edit the videos all prior to posting. That way you can have 3-4 months of solid content posting 2-3 times a week to really build a good following. Then in the meantime while creating that content, post the odd random things of the dyno. If a customer wants to check if a driveshaft is bent/bad you can run it on there to check for vibrations. You can do an engine break in on it if you have a customer you’ve done the full rebuild on. Things like that.

I would like to have the complete series done like that. Somethings I am working on.

Don't have much advice either, not that anyone cares, nor am I speaking for anybody but me,but I'm not in search of anything in particular for knowledge nor do I really need any other resources,..I like to read,so sometimes I gain knowledge that way,.and I see no need to pry or pester you for info...I've got a bunch of different Cummins around here, but I'm not in need of any parts for repair or modifying...at this time ..I enjoy your videos and witnessing what u got cookin up there across the border..if I ever need some parts I'm definitely gonna check out what u got tho.. thanks for all you do for everyone 👍👍👊🍻

the dyno will become a standard part of your shop. You may have to put on more staff. Not as much fun for you, so you may have to delegate jobs to a manager with more people.. You will have to become a BIGGER Cahoona.. I have grown to trust your Cummins expertise. Please keep your engine machining going as good shops are like hens teeth !!

I have been anticipating the Dyno addition to your channel since you 1st mentioned it. I would recommend that you start from day one, giving in-depth information for the Dyno videos. Polish the content so your subscribers will both want to pay to help and stick with you. Look at what Lenny, Greg and PDD provide and one up that content. My 2 cents. I'm onboard.

Off topic but does black diesel gel in the cold like regular diesel? I was thinking in extreme cold weather it might be beneficial to run black diesel or ATF

I dont give advice, apparently you have a successful business..i never had that i always worked for a company, a utility company for the last 35 years..For me the dyno would need to pay for it self in some manner .There are a few utube channels that have them in there business i watch . Thanks for all you do . I pretty cheap guy but i pay for quality work or parts. Not a chance i buy a new car ,truck ,bike ect

I have to be honest. I didn't understand why you purchased a dyno. I encourage this channel. Yet I didn't honestly see a need. I'm not you. I don't know what's going on in your head. Nor should I. My hope is it all works out to your benefit.
