Hey folks! here is another Filipino recipe with a twist! It's called adobo sa gata. Adobo is usually marinated with soy sauce, bay leaves and soy sauce. In this recipe I will use another type of acid to marinate my chicken. Here is the full recipe Ingredients. Here is my version of the traditional recipe.
Enjoy cooking!
ADOBO SA GATA FULL INGREDIENTS:
1kg Chicken Thighs
200g Coconut Milk
150g Soy Sauce
1 White Onion
1 Spring Onion
10 Cloves Of Garlic
6 to 7 Bayleaves
10g Parsley
3 Lemon Juice
1 tbsp sugar
15g Vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste
3 salted anchovies
10g ginger

I recently moved here in Italy, now living in VR. I cooked adobo using aceto di mela, di ko type. I tried also aceto di vino, also was disappointed. I found an asian supermarket at may Datu Puti. Ay ang sarap. Btw..congrats for winning the competition and ang galing mo mag italian, unlike me. Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much, and indeed, the taste will be different in Aceto di Mela and aceto di vino because of the different acidity and origin. Datu Puti is the best to get the original flavor, I suggest to use Lime or Lemon, it's better than using aceto di mela and aceto di vino, they're very acidic even when cooked.
