The Faber cat farm has come a long way... that widow frame needs some cribbing and a bottle jack to hold it in place while you drill and rebar it back together... but you already know that.
I will probably use a screw jack, the bottle jack I have doesn't like working horizontally. It will be 'fun'. It will get a good coat of looking at before I do the 'engineering'.
