I'll be honest, it took me a while to figure out what "P.T.O." meant. When I first heard it, I instantly thought "Phantom of the Opera", but that theory was quickly disproved when the notes continued and it is pointed out that they are signed “O.G.” (Opera Ghost). Turns out, it's "Please turn over."

Simon Callow and Ciaran Hinds aren’t two actors you’d immediately think of casting in a musical, but they are great as Andre and Firman. Their voices go together so well.

My favorite lines are "you'd never get away with this in a play but when it's loudly sung in a foreign toungue it makes the perfect opera."

Mance Rayder blew me away with his voice in this. I never would have thought Ciarán Hinds would’ve had such a beautiful singing voice. He is damn Gorgeous.

Honestly, of all the characters I feel sorry for in this story, aside from Erik/Phantom, it's Andre and Firmin who had struggled to the top of the scrap metal trade, had finally achieved a position of status as the owners of a popular Opera House, only to have their lives and reputations cast down into ruins by the actions of a spiteful and scornful madman. Did they get in over their heads? Yes, probably, but then they also inherited a bad situation and probably got swindled into buying the Opera House and the "Ghost" that came with it.

Wait. Wrote or written? When is it appropriate to use wrote or written? And when is it wrong to use wrote or written. It seemed to me that it was right for Firmin to say wrote instead of written. Please explain.

Giry is changed a little, more compassionate towards christne but I love the change. she figured christen was exhausted from her vocal lessons and let her be alone to recuperate.
