Here here. At my most musical, I can sometimes sing melodic lines that I wish I could then render on my guitar. I cannot do this and some are blessed to come up with absolutely superlative melodies and have them come out of their fingers. It's an amazing skill.

Those EMG pickups are really sounding great. This is the type of demo EMG needs on their channel! Their current videos all sound....well not the best and I realized how great they really are after playing them in person.

I lost my inspiration for playing Guitar and music in last few years due to business and family work, thn i heard this song and the title really hit me and i clicked it and i felt every note of this song....so beautiful and it really connected with me ...NOTHING IS LOST....i picked up my guitar and started working learning this song.....This is really one of the best instrumental i have ever heard...my fav was tender surrender....now Nothing is lost is my new fav. This is simply amazing Marco! Your sound is so good. It cleans up really nice sat certain parts and has the perfect presence at others. This is a great song very cool to see you do a playthrough with this one! You are definitely one of my favorite guitarists I love your intro and overall song structure in "Dawn" off of the Homeland album. 'Dawn' is just so, so beautiful. I am as enraptured learning how to play it as I am understanding how it 'works' compositionally. Just inspiring. (I still can't play that really fast run, though!)

@@nickr8976 Yeah the intro is so good. Marco killed it on that song. That fast run in the song is so awesome. I can't even get close to the speed on that speedy part. The solo is really good but I love the intro the best and then the chorus. Another great song is "Homeland" so great acoustic sound at the beginning and lead guitar. Another good one is Sunset Lights.

Extremely generalised: learn your scales and chords. The notes you accent, be it by volume, length, vibrato, whammy and whatnot in relation to the background chord is what sets the melodic reference and emotion you feel as a listener.
