Clemson picked up the huge 31-23 victory over No. 15 Notre Dame at home in a win that made head coach Dabo Swinney the winningest coach in Clemson football history. Phil Mafah was the dominant force for the Tigers all afternoon, as he carried the ball a whopping 36 times for 186 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win. Mafah accounted for all but 99 yards of the Clemson offense all by himself. QB Cade Klubnik went 13-26 and 109 yards with a passing touchdown in the win. Defensively, LB Jeremiah Trotter Jr. had 11 total tackles, 2 sacks, and a pick-6.

I hate Garrett Riley. Up 24-9 3rd and 4 and he calls a 5 wide formation. It ends up being a pick returned to the 3 yard line. You’ve dominating the run game all day and you chose to go 5 wide. Even if you want to pass 5 wide eliminates the threat of running. It’s so stupid. As a football fan it just pisses me off.

Calm down. Was his first year. I think just like the team our staff will also be better next year. Had a younger team and a new coaches. Ppl forget that. Young this year but more experience at least and Matt luck only first year this year on the main position coaches.

@@SlimeGoatfied I hope so. I’m not a Clemson fan but I do have a ton of love and respect for the program and Dabo. Just seems like he was overthinking everything last year and as a lover of the game of football it truly hurts to see someone that knows football as well as he does make mistakes like that. It also sucks to see teams as talented as Clemson underachieve. I’m rooting for them this season.

@@lyndonyoung6756 lot of games last year they lost was bc of offensive mistakes. Fumbling, turnovers, may have missed a kick or too also but ik for a fact the first two but this year will definitely be better. Just hope the defense holds as but that’s usually never the problem first 9/10

@@SlimeGoatfied the Georgia game will be a tough test but even if they lose that one they just need to win the acc and they’re in the playoffs. You want to win that game but the really important one is fsu.
