I'm 37. I've been supporting Nadal since i was 18... against Federer and especially against today's winner. I used to hate Novak actually ( as he's been such a pain in the a** for the Spaniard), but noticing his decision not to take the vaccine and what happened to him last year in Australia... and also Rafa's reaction to his bad treatment in there....well all these made me get the switch of my life...Starting that point i started to support Djokovic and i felt like i've always done it. One way or another it felt like converting to another religion. So yeah...i have no words to describe how happy i am to see this guy being the GOAT of all GOATS. Belive or not, l suported Nadal First since he was the reason l started to WATCH tenis, and when djokovic came even that l am from serbia l kept rooting for Nadal just cos he was the reason l started to watch tennis, and litteraly for the same reason you Said l turned back to Nadal and started full support to one and only, mr GOAT Novak djokovic

I always find it amazing how articulate and thoughtful he is. He’s a quick mind on making decent speeches, which a lot of people can’t do throughout years of experience.

I remember years ago Nole saying growing up in Serbia during the war, he would play in a make shift tennis court inside a large swimming pool. There were bombs being dropped and terrible war devastating his country. He has come from the worst conditions imaginable and at 36 he is still an incredible athlete and a humble person, and forever the Goat. No way are you going to see this kind of player again.
What makes him the undeniable GOAT is sharing the same era as the second and third best players of all time, as well as two other players who'd likely be among the all-time greats if they'd played in any other era. Even if Alcaraz dominates the next decade and beats Nole's GS numbers, without those sorts of rivals it'll be hard to make the case for him. He needs at least one realistic rival to push him.

I have immense admiration for Djokovic as an athlete, a tennis player, and as a Serbian patriot. He loves his family and his nation and is a credit to his people.

A True Champion.. He was playing against an incredible player of nearly half of his age in that extreme conditions and it was evident how he looked exhausted after lagging 3-1 in 2nd set. Dont know how on earth he pulled it from there. Amazing to watch these two playing against each other.

At the end it's just two men playing a ball over a net, but the matches between Nole and Alcaraz have the appeal of the old Roman amphitheatres, where two gladiators battle it out to the grim end.
