Was awesome to be back at this years Laureus Sports Awards here in Monaco and catch up with some of the greatest athletes of our time! Had a good chat with Novak Djokovic and Julius Dein showed us some epic magic tricks...
The Laureus World Sports Awards is an annual award ceremony honouring individuals and teams from the world of sports along with sporting achievements throughout the year. It was established in 1999 by Laureus Sport for Good Foundation founding patrons Daimler and Richemont and supported by its global partners Mercedes-Benz and IWC Schaffhausen.

Nico, the best part about your channel is simply no bull. You say it like it is and let your reputation count for the rest. Only thing is sometimes it seems you underestimate your standing or are perhaps too modest. In a way a pity you retired because you would have beaten Lewis again no question.

Nico, my name is Nico as well, you were the reason I started watching F1 and going to the Canadian GP every year, we miss you in Formula One, because unlike another AMG Petronas driver, you raced CLEAN, focused, ultra precise, and even if you poled P7 or P1, you never tried any tricks to come through the field, you raced with respect for the sport, if you ever decide to come back, it will not only be a great day for F1, but for the Kart racers you support, that see you drive like a real champion, la Scuderia sarebbe orgogliosa di vederti correre con loro!

If for nothing else to prove to F1 fans that Lewis never got into Nico's head, as is the consensus among some paddock big wigs. How many times did Lewis play so dirty to win a GP, and when his tactics didn't work, he's was the biggest baby about it.

This has been the normal attire for many Black tie Events. Standing for long periods of time while being interviewed is way more comfy in sneakers. I used to go to COMDEX in a suit and white or black sneakers way back in 1983

...which is actually wrong. Arctic means "northern", which does come from Ancient Greek "towards the Great Bear", but that relates to the constellation. Antarctica simply means "opposite of northern" (anti- does not mean without). It has no connection to whether bears live there or not.

An excellent video, really insightful and inspiring but honestly, who told Nico and Noval that white shoes are OK with a dinner jacket? Black tie means, black dinner jacket, matching black trousers and BLACK leather shoes. Trainers are for the sports field etc. Hope you had a great night anyway.

Nico, please ask the Mercedes guys why the hell the EQC is only 7,4kw 2-phase-AC-charging? This is a big fail on this car. They should re-think this.

Two phase AC is the only option, most modern motors in any industry are running on AC power, much easier for power factor correction.

@@capo_di_capi 22kw AC-3-phase charging is state of the art in Germany. Almost every public charging station offers 22kw AC charging. But the EQC can only utilize 7,4kw AC ... that's a shame. 😭

@@M20B25-User I see what your saying but the way your power grid operates in Europe is vastly more efficient than here in North America, why we use 600/347V three phase commercial , 240/120V single phase in homes makes no sense, the higher the voltage, the less Amps used, and I am in Canada, we are so far behind the rest of the world when it comes the amount of charging stations in our infrastructure.

Antarctica simply means "opposite of northern" (anti- means opposite, not without). It has no connection to whether bears live there or not. Sure, you could use it as a useful mnemonic, but don't tell wrong facts.
