Hewitt is criminally underrated. The guy spent 80 weeks at no.1 ranking, used to give Federer all sorts of troubles before his prime (and they had many 4-set matches during Fed's prime too), won 2 majors and has 4-4 h2h against Agassi and 4-5 h2h against Sampras. He also beat Federer at 2010 Halle final and at 2014 Brisbane final! 2014 Brisbane final was their last encounter, and Hewitt had the last laugh lol. Hewitt had that undying never-give-up spirit and is probably the second best counterpuncher in the recent tennis history next to Andy Murray, both have great lobs too.

Although Hewitt was past his prime, he played very well. Djokovic played great tennis, even though he reached only about 75 per cent of his capacity, which is insane. Who knows? It might have been part of his strategy: to conserve energy. Perhaps he knew that such a level was all he needed to win the match. It seemed as though the guy took a little nap during the 3rd set, then woke up, saying to himself: "Oh shit, I still have a match on my hands."

from 2011-2014 prime novak 6 gslams, prime nadal 5, murray 2, wawrinka 1 federer 1.....NOVAK WON THE MOST gslams in the strongest era ...telefone hang up:)))) for federer fans is that hard to accept, i mean even 2011 beat novak harder opponents in his prime then prime federer from 2003-10,,,SORRY federer fans but federer lost forever, he was never special or unique when even novak can the same in his 30s what federer do from 2003-2008.....

By the way its been a long time since we have shown some hate together towards novak. Those were some good days. Its getting tougher to undermine novak's achievements these days for what he has been achieving lately. 🤦‍♂️😭 He may distance further from fedals in the goat race. Do you think he may get to 30 slams? If he gets to 28 slams, officially both roger and novak would have the same number of easy slams but t his guy would have won 28 slams to Roger s 20 slams. 😭😭 GOD hasnt been kind to us 😭😭😭
