The way he is consistently smacking the cover off the ball, going after every second serve on break points, changing grounstroke direction, hitting down the line off both wings, blistering returns of serve and raising the level on every game point and break point. A match in which Novak played well below par and yet managed to win in straight sets. Just go to show as to how much ahead of competition he really is. Poor Tommy played remarkably well, but he had to capitulate before the greatness of Novak who was in a league of his own.

After the first set, Paul never recovered. That's the difference. If Djokovic were 2 sets down in a GS, you never count him out, but can't say the same for Paul.

@ 32:25 Umpire called out Novak ..as a tennis player, I can only relate on how unsettling it is for any player to be so distracted by a bad call from an umpire that it ruins my mood and my rhythm I ended up loosing the next succeeding points. It really hard to shake it off, the bad feeling i have toward the umpire that i sometime would temporarily loose my appetite to play. the match. Novak deteriorated his game after that even Paul mentioned it in his post interview
