Interesting your thoughts on Tiger and ibex. Glorious autumn trees. Enjoyed that.

Enjoyed the video, John. Honda has a 450 dual sport but it's tall. Beautiful scenery and RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!

I am a total Triumph Tiger 800 fan and I'll stick with your channel as long as you keep your Triumph Tiger. This bike may not be the best for off-road riding or for adventure travel riding, or city commuting, but I think it still is one the best all-rounder. Smooth and torquey engine, very comfortable, reliable, reasonably cheap to maintain. That's what I like in a bike. The Tiger is not a Ducati diva or Japanese ninja, it's a good-spirited, faithful, drama-free, resilient British companion.

I enjoy all your videos. Your commentary is enjoyable as is the scenery. I ride down there as often as I can but not as often as I'd like.

Love your videos. I started watching your channel because of the tiger. I ride a 2012 800xc. But i do like the ibex also. I also love your history of all of the mills. I especially enjoyed the 1 where you went through Mountain home. I stayed one summer with my Aunt, she lived in Jacksonville ( i think). So thank you for bringing back some great memories. Lee

I came across your channel as I bought a ‘new’ 15 Versys 1000 last month, 320 miles on it. I can see the transition to the Tiger but agree with you for that riding a dualsport is way better. I came back to riding a few years ago on an older 1200GSA, soon after got a DR650-now DRZ400 (with the GSA and V1K). DR/DRZ are fine bikes on two lane. CRF300L Rally would offer some wind protection. Versys 300 may be worth a look too depending on conditions you get in, more a small ADV vs dualsport.

Nice video Jon, they always are. I especially enjoyed the spring and creek. Glad you feel safe out your way riding off road in hunting season. I've been lectured before here in TN for doing that. Keep up the good work and don't be too hasty about getting rid of that great bike. : )

You are lucky with the weather in your region, we have had nothing but rain for 7 weeks. Furthermore, it doesn't matter to me which motorcycle you ride, for me it's the videos that count. 😉

Hi John, I have recently become a subscriber and love your content, travel, history, geography and bike maintenance. I initially picked up on your channel because of the CF moto 800 mt as I have recently bought one and love it. If you’re looking to change the Tiger for a smaller lighter bike you should take a look at the cf moto. 450 mt which is coming (at least in Europe) later this year. It’s 385lb dry, 32inch seat and 45bhp from a parallel twin. Shouldn’t cost too much either 👍

Hello there sir, good to hear from you. Congrats on the new ride. I have already purchased a Kawasaki KLX300 to ride around in the government woods with. We probably won't see the new CFMOTO 450 here in the US for a couple of years. The US is always the last market to get new bike releases for some reason. The new 450 looks like a very interesting proposition for sure. Looking forward to some ride reviews on it in the near future. I have seen a few from India but my Hindi isn't very good... Thanks for watching and keep safe out there... :)

Beautiful spring water 💧 Can you drink that water John, it looks lovely. I wouldn't trust the Triumph, I'd prefer the CF MOTO. The new Honda NX 500 looks a good lightweight bike. I used to ride a lot of dirt bikes back in the 70s , so l prefer lightweight dirt bikes .

Hello there sir, good to hear from you. Yes I also grew up on dirt bikes in the 70's... I am looking very hard at a DRZ400 or DR650... old school... thanks for watching... :)

John, I have a KTM 790, 650 V Strom and a DR 650. DR is my favorite all around bike. I even camp off it with my wife.

Always enjoy your travels ! One of these days I am going to make it down there from southern Iowa to try some of those government woods myself . I have a few bikes for the same reason, the dual sports can be a nice addition, I have a Honda XR650L and a mighty vstrom 650 adventure set up pretty much like yours was . The DR650 is a lot better road machine than my Honda XR650 , but both still fun and like you say old school .

Jon, I found your content when I was shopping for my current 2020 V-Strom 650. I've loved every video. I might have missed a few technical videos on non-Stroms, but not many. I love how you ride and improve your bikes and I model my riding style after yours on-road and off. Keep doing what you do! I guess you let the Mighty V-Strom go a while ago, right?

How much do you want for your Tiger? You say it is heavy? I used to ride a 1986 Kawasaki Concours with 7.5 gallons of fuel. That sucker was top heavy. I enjoy your videos. The motorcycle is just transportation. You are the Star. I'm down in Cleburne County, AR. Let;s meet up at Drasco Trading Post.

Hello there sir, good to hear from you. I also had the big sport tourers for many years. I have had 3 Yamaha FJR1300's. Those are great bikes to travel across the country on for sure. I have not committed to selling the Tiger just yet... not sure if I can let that one go. I would love to come down your way next season for a meet up... remind me in the spring... thanks for watching... keep safe.. :)

@@ozarksbackroads5484 I've retired to Arkansas from Colorado so I could ride year round. Maybe do a review of Heated Gear and riding in colder temperatures. I'm looking for a lighter Bike, too, with REAL cruise control.

You picked a nice area there around Greers Ferry lake. I spent a week camped over at Clinton last year riding the area, it was very nice... I do not know of a dual sport bike that would have cruise control but that would be nice. :) @@daviddavis192
